Suddenly DC’d, then got this message every time I tried to log him back in at the character screen (or any other character). Anyone else seeing this right now?

If you attempt to log in after a disconnect and haven’t waited a few minutes, you’ll have to wait out the automated disconnect timer, which then saves your character’s state. If it is a hardcore character, good luck. A disconnect does not cause your character to be saved right away like a normal game exit would. It’s just as if you had pulled the ethernet cable manually.
Yes, when you dc randomly, exit the whole client and wait a few minutes before you reenter.
