D4 with 8gb RAM

Yes. They haven’t completely fixed it.

I haven’t noticed any stuttering in latest Beta version. With 16GB Ram super smooth unlike previous two versions with micro stutters all over the place

8GB, fx8350 + 5500xt here. 1080p at medium with solid 60 fps.

Could not imagine running it on 8gb. Luckily got 32GB and 12700K with a 3070TI ran smooth maxed out at 1440 on a 65 inch oled.

I also have no problems with fps, but after an hour of the game, the infernal friezes begin. I am glad that you are OK with this.

I had no issues during the server slam, but during the first beta weekend the memory leak was an issue for me on an older system with 12 GB of ram. Would balloon sitting at the queue screen then crash with an out of memory error at the character creation screen.

I made an include list for the two DIV processes using this tool:

It kept it under control for those two weekends, so is something to look at for a low ram PC.

For the most part, I haven’t had memory problems. Even with 32GB on all of my systems.

I played for several hours straight last Sat without any issues in D4. Memory on average used by the entire system was around 8-10GB.

Now. Back in open beta, there were issues that would present, if I changed the graphical settings too much trying to see how high I could crank them up and maintain a decent FPS. I noticed then that there would be memory as high as 20GB for just D4. And the higher it got the more jittery it became. But again, this was when trying to run highest or near highest settings. And I have not tried this on my new PC either yet.

im actually playing with 8gb ram but using “Intelligent standby list cleaner” (ISLC) and “reducememory” with these two i can play more than 12 hours if i wanted to.

The problem itself its not the game but the SO (Windows an its ridiculous memory consuming/cache). Hopefully this can help u out and even reach more ppl.

Yes, check 2 points :

  • Program(s) that start with windows
  • Services
Just make sure to disable all app/prog unnecessery. That should help.

I ran it on 16 gb RAM in the first beta weekend, and I felt there were loading times that were bad, choppy transitions, and a drop in performance.

Second weekend I was running it on 64 gb RAM, was much smoother. Ram is cheap right now, grab it while it still is. I paid about $150 for 16x4 GB sticks.
