Professional reviews count for sure.
I’m just saying they all reviewed over a beta weekend so probably didnt experience end game.
Just my opinion I could be wrong.
The good news is reviews seem to be dynamic and Blizz have a good track record of improving things so they can get their scores back up.
I’d be curious for people to name me games that have high quality end-game ?
Considering most people are around forums here, and not playing anything else…
I wonder where there is end-game content
The good reviews???you mean the one with “9/10, 9.5/10, 10/10” thise bs one from prominent company and from blizz shills like rykka???
Im sorry but even if people were to be generous it would be a 5/10 lol to be fair…

Significantly reduce the time needed to reach Max level (less than half a day)…and implement the same D3 style paragon +5 stat/level there after.
Significantly buff the classes such that they are fun to play, reduce/remove cooldowns on many abilities and increase resource generation to match the playstyle of D3… i.e a ww barb should be able to ww, no more builder spender nonsense (refer to POE2).
Add an endless dungeon mode.
Add class sets (tie them to the seasonal progress similar to d3).
you know what… just scrap D4 and build on D3 it was such a better game.

I disagree… there were (and still are) so many apologetics around blatantly broken and under-baked things in the game, because “they’ll fix it, it’s only been out for 2 months” as if that’s an excuse for bad game design.

Early Alpha. This game is about 1-2 years away from being finished. It launched missing so many core ARPG features and has spaghetti coding. The problem is they built a lot of D4 ontop of the failed D3 engine.
So D4 likely can’t be fixed.
When Resist don’t even work and can’t be fixed. This is an Early Alpha problem.

On the contrary, when people defend an indefensible stance using that very “live service” tag as a justification for horrible quality products on launch, it tends to gaslight people.
If there weren’t people calling people impatient for wanting a complete product day one, there wouldn’t be thread after thread complaining.

I don’t read game reviews. They’re worthless to a fault.

It took them 2 weeks for this patch to drop, and it only made things worse.
No, I dont see this game turning it around.

Hopefully they will learn from their mistake, but probably not - because someone posted about Diablo 3 over 11 years ago in the reddit forums warning about Diablo 4 could be a disaster if Blizzard didn’t learn from the mistakes they made with D3…apparently, they didn’t learn, nor care.

People need to stop forgetting and forgiving. Only way to keep it from happening again.
Of course for them to ‘get’ that message you would have to refuse buying Diablo IV…another 12 years from now."

Most critic reviews are worthless and most ‘emotional’ bomb reviews are worthless too, if a user review has at least 2+ paragraphs then its usually worth paying some attention.
I don’t see how they can sell a game that wasn’t even remotely close to be playable and not have some kids backlash coming at them for ripping people off.

as they should, the game is awful. the only people playing this with massive amounts of time are Diablo 4 fanboys or people with terrible taste in games.

Read the last bit of the post you quoted. “Didn’t play longer than 10 hours”
D4 is a bare Minimum “for profit” game to please shareholders.
It’s not made to satisfy players or give them a good experience.
Just use the blizzard & diablo name for some cash.

Probably one of the worst comments I have seen in awhile. Fun is completely subjective and people will play what they find fun regardless of someone else’s opinion. You don’t get to come here and tell people that enjoy this game that they have terrible tastes regarding games because you, and this wasteland of a forum full of edgey circle jerk posts say so.
There are people who like stardew valley, where you harvest crops, milk cows, and sell it to do more of that. I couldn’t stand playing something like that but I wouldn’t shiz on someone that did. What is wrong with you people?

Personally, I believe that this game probably should have been delayed six months to a year. Maybe even a year and a half to really iron things out and flesh out aspects of the game. But I wouldn’t be surprised if budget and management probably played a role in why it was rushed out. Regardless, I understand that the dev’s are doing what they can to try and fix the game. But I honestly believe that it will be an uphill struggle from this point on. Unless they really pull off some amazing stuff for season 2 and get more people coming back to the game. I think Diablo 4 may almost be another Battlefield 2042. The developers may finally get the game in a proper state after about a couple of years. But most of the player base will already be gone and onto something else and not come back.

Good. The game is bad and 2/10 is still too high

Wrong, the game is objectively bad and fun is not subjective. Data determines what fun is.
Remember this is just review bombing from disgruntled players and does not reflect the true score of the game which is probably 13/10.
