D4 is lacking competitive content

Gauntlet is not as gear-dependent as the Pit. If you have your build sorted out, you don’t need 4GA gear to compete. That’s because most mobs have very low HP.

To be fair gauntlet does require more strategy then a pit LB, it is also gear dependent around speed of everything. When they introduced pit LB they will just be topped by credit card warriors. It may be a nice to have but really unimportant until the RMT issue is solved.

I do really enjoy the pit but I wont go back to it until they add new cosmetics or add a loadout feature.

Even if they deal with RMT, it will still be taken over by bots who farm 24/7. The Gauntlet is fine as competitive content. They should focus on build diversity and casual endgame content. The Dark Citadel already looks like a huge gamble and there’s no need to take another one by wasting resources on content that maybe only 0.1% of people will enjoy.
