Stop whining, quit playing the season & either go to Eternal Realm or play another game that suits you. It’s clear as day Season 3 isn’t for you. We get it. Your complaining/whining is getting old & isn’t needed nor wanted.
Power creep trivialized too much of d3 especially hardcore. It’s bad. Keep it away.
power creep is what you want at some point…
not every monster to become a struggle
yall really have the wrong perspective on how this should workout in actual gameplay…
cuz you’re literally saying to make this game become (dark souls) enemy difficulty (every enemy beeing a challange),
thats gonna take one hell of a long time to clear 1 dungeon…
thats not what an ARPG is about…
the point that we’;re having this discussion even just shows what a lack of experience/knowledge some players have about arpgs
No reason it would take a long time, plenty of Souls enemies can be killed fast. They can merely punish you if you are not careful in how you approach them.
Besides, it is adjustable how many enemies you have in a dungeon.
That said, I certainly do wish dungeons in Diablo were longer. More exploration, more side paths/activities etc.
15-30 minutes would be a good spot.
In D3 it was often down to 2-5 minutes, and D4 dungeons are generally very fast as well.
Those short runs hardly feel like dungeon crawling anymore, which is comical for an A-RPG.
D2 is just so dated and not fun at all, besides playing the campaign once.
D3 feels good, when you get your gear together. D4 feels good similarly in that way.
It’s just that D3 grew well rounded, with very good QoL changes made over the years. D4 is still missing that. I don’t need tedium in games. All the leveling…for each class you wanna play in a season. I don’t enjoy any of that, because it’s a chore you have to fulfill, before your build feels fun to play and you can then do all your vaults and dungeons, bosses and so on. It’s ok for the first character in a season, but already with the second one it’s a frustrating stretch.
