Seems like an interesting way to judge player engagement
So, it sounds like anyone with the VoH should be hunting in Nahantu. Is that correct?
Iām not sure Iād use the word āinterestingā Iād go with another word that starts with āIā and ends with āantā. Especially given the time frame for this event.
Iāll pass. Not enough to get me to log back in.
Not even sure if eternal counts towards this or not . Either way- just another ākill more goblin eventā
A global community event - we need more of those!
Yeah, that was my thought as well, especially given how many players likely left for the remainder of the season due to how lackluster it was and still is.
I also noticed that this article seems to be using a template and whoever wrote this one up didnāt bother to properly proofread as you can clearly see the gigantic āCODEXā near the top of the article despite there being nothing for the codex in this event.
If they really wanted people to hit any of these goals, they need to extend it to at least one week prior to the season ending, if not flat out to the end. While I personally have no objection to mindlessly killing goblins, my time is now also being spent in Ladder season 9 in D2R, so something has to give if they expect anyone with a life to contribute meaningfully to the event tier goals.
No one cares bro. I said, no one cares.
āthe entire Diablo IV communityā
āEternal Realm.ā
Any speculation on what this is?
Gilded Splendor Coming Soon
The heralds are sounding their horns for a mighty ascendanceāan additional gleam from the world of Azeroth may soon be making its way into Sanctuary. Keep your eyes on the horizon for more details on December 17.
Another cosmetic gimmick instead of fixing the game lol, figures.
At least with the group total they can fudge the numbers so we magically hit it.
Maybe there will be a decimal error like in Helldivers 2 last month. That was funny.
(Helldivers 2 had a major order to kill 500 million enemies with a specific weapon within 3 days, which was pretty much impossible. They corrected it to 50 Million the next day, blaming the error on improper decimal verification by an employee from the Minestry of Logistics.)
The art team is separate from the core development team. One can proceed to create new assets without affecting the other.
They couldnāt put that money toward more devs on seasonal content? Havenāt heard one complaint about there not being enough bought cosmetics
Youāre under the mistaken belief that simply throwing money at a problem fixes it. This has been debunked many times over the years when it comes to game development. The problem isnāt too few devs, itās a combination of too little time between seasons, lack of proper length PTRs, and the insanity of continuing to reuse old code, which is where nearly all of our season to season regressions come from.
I never said to few devs, they obviously are hiring under qualified ones. Use that money and hire some devs that know how to code, the amount of bugs we have every single season is beyond crazy. I have literally never played an arpg this unbalanced and bug ridden. Poe2 is in EA and they have less bugs itās sad Really
I enjoyed reading the description of the event, very creative sparked my imagination.
I will hop in to loot some Christmas goblins.
Critique.
A little heavy on the Voh marketing lol. Might get it if itās on sale though
Looks really fun to me. It is clever move from Blizzard to bring back players for a couple of weeks. It is a busy period for some but others are on holidays and will have more time to play than usual. Letās hope Blizzard has been reasonably optimistic when choosing the required numbers of Goblin kills.
Thatās the kind of multiplayer activity I would be happy to see more often in the game.
Actual something like this is much better for people that havenāt already stopped playing VoH (S6), and are coming in for their first foray into S6.
There is literally nothing here for someone that has already completed what the wanted in VoH. As we already have all the Mythics and low tier Aspects we could hope for after the first week.
