Honestly? Very mid event, rewards are always the same, what about class skins? And 40 million goblins? Not sure if that many people will be playing on holidays and with POE2 there, but lets see

There’s the announcement we’ve been waiting on.
So the whole player base has to kill 40m goblins to earn all the rewards. Even at 50 goblins per person that’s still 800k people required. I feel they should lower the amount needed by an extra zero.
These goblins better be replacing every enemy in the game if they want us to kill that many.

Right when people are the busiest for the holidays. I feel this event should’ve started earlier, last week of November for example and extended until the end of the season.

40 million globally is a tiny amount in a few weeks unless people just aren’t playing.

I wonder if we will have some type of a indicator to show how many have been killed at any give time.
Also, will people who jump in an hour before it is over receive all of the rewards?

Says the cosmetic rewards will be awarded in the shop. People just have to login to the character select screen lol. I’m hoping the goblin totem in Kyovashad will have a counter.

Will the greed shrines be a thing? I guess this is what I expected. Not sure if I’ll log in for this.
And I’ll bet there are no goblins in the pit, the only place where I’d be interested in going with the xp boost.
Their loot could drop from the chest at the end.

Just this once I wish they would give a free armor cosmetic. Either that or enough of a power boost so that I wouldn’t have to resort to switching from (insert non-SB build here) to fully level my glyphs.
Anyway I guess if you don’t already have 82 single GA Mythics or haven’t already painfully grinded your paragons to 300 without a boost, or wasted hour upon hour already min/maxing your previously extremely hard to come by gear this is nice though or better than coal at least.
If the Infernal Hordes was nothing but goblins I’d login to that. The council would be replaced by 3 to 4 giant sized goblins instead. It would be amazing.

Hoping both seasonal and eternal are on the same goblin counter. Stopped playing seasonal months ago, but having fun building new characters in eternal. Especially with all the free welcome back boosters.
