I use it to generate essence, spawn a lot of blood orbs, gaining health & essence from the orbs and buffing untimely death on my 2hander, reapers and bone golem for boss corpse production, with decrepify for cool down reduction on rathmas key passive and golem. I can go near infinite on blood surge at lvl 80.
