Whats up with that. It used to be 4 sparks to craft any you want, now u need a ton of rare runes that hardly drop. To craft tyreals might u need 3x 6 runes that each cost like 120m

Agree, it sucks. They should remove targeted mythic crafting. I cannot craft the specific unique I want but I can craft the mythic I want. Makes no sense.

They’re trying to make the game weighted toward a select few full-time, non-solo, trading players at this point.

feels like it, i play mostly solo, the ppl you end up with through party finder are mostly retars unofrtunatly and never seem to knhow boss mechanics or die non stop.
Yes is a very bad design.
Spark is a result when you salvage a no needeed mythic.
And for craft a target mythic you need now runes, the fastest way to obtain that is farming tormented boss… (in eternal realm)
And, i think we will loot the cibled before grab the runes…

The runes are crazy easy to get, and it’s only 5k gold. This is much better.

I mean in order to craft mythics, mythics also have to drop. The amount of boss runs that I’ve done and had no luck is pretty ridiculous this season. Not saying they should drop like crazy but the nerf to boss loot drops directly impacts the chances for mythics to drop. I’m actually really happy this season with all of the changes except this one. This is the one that is frustrating me and making a lot of people feel somewhat “stuck”
There are less mythic drops because they are always Ancestral. This means they always have 1 GA. How many GA pieces did you get in previous seasons?
The boss mats are super easy to acquire, so you get 100’s of attempts.
And lets get real for a second here. Do you feel that in a full season you should have multiple mythic drops in the first week if you aren’t playing loads of hours daily?
I’ve had maybe 4 drops in about 300 boss kills. So I’m right on the 1 in 75 range, and it feels fine.

i got 3 mythic drops. salvaged them i gambled at blacksmith, got my tyreals might on 1st try. for now i am good, dont need any other mythics on spiritborn
Yeah…came back to D4 after not being terribly happy with the early access for POE 2. Raced to complete season journey to get a spark. Then noticed what it costs to craft the mythic I want. No thanks.
Yeah it’s why I don’t bother with it honestly if a mythic drops cool…otherwise I can’t be bothered.
I don’t know how many times I’ve got ok-good items and trashed them because it was too much effort to play around with it 
The sums up crafting pretty well I think
If you ask me, crafting mythics itself shoudnt be a thing at all.

Yes, and you can get runes only if you own VoH, so you can no longer craft mythics unless you have the expansion, which is really lame. I give D4 a -5 stars for this poor decision. It may be good for marketing but it’s alienating a lot of players, so not a smart move.
I could find all required runes to craft my mythics. It takes some time but it drops.

So you can’t get the mats you want for it, so those who can should be punished? Dude that’s just selfish.

I all depends on how much you play and what you play. You get many rare and legendary runes from the bigger bosses. Farm boss mat. Always use the boss mat opal. Convert the rare runes you absolutely don’t need into new ones. The chance to get a new legendary rune (Bac etc.) is relatively high. If you focus on Whisper tree rewards, you get magic runes (Moni etc.) from the caches as well. If you have one good tradeable item you can get billions of gold and then buy more runes than you ever need.

You may wont be able to craft the mythic item of your desire right away. Play a bit. After a while you will have all the gear you need. Im solo ssf, dont trade, dont buy, dont take furry presents. I have every mythic item i need. I also crafted 2 of them.
You may look at your poor potpourri of runes and think: I will never be able to craft. But your will wanderer… you will.

Farming bosses for runes I had 8 mythics before I had the runes I needed.

I have a couple of sparks left and as the season is nearly over i can scrap all my mythics too i stocked.
Im really tempted to use them at the blacksmith to see what RNG gives me
