Crackling energy change broke my build

Galvanic Azurite.
Okuns Catalyst.
Axial Conduit.

Enchants…
Lightning spear.
Chain lightning.

Rotation…
Spam ball lightning with Okuns Catalyst effect to generate orbiting ball lightnings, Lightning Spears and Chain lightnings. Activate ice armor, lightning spear, and Unstable Currents on cooldown. Roll through everything in your path like an immortal wrecking ball of death and vengeance. Pay no attention to what’s on the screen. It’s already dead.

Without the ability to pick up crackling energy when at max charges there is no way to sustain mana for this build, without giving up affixes that provide damage.

I’m guessing this is the real reason they made the change. Specifically to break this build. I am nerd rage.

Only spires in infernal hordes are now better

I’m not seeing any issues.

We differ on a few things though… I’m using teleport instead of CL for the enchant… stormhorn over Okun’s because it’s just better dps and doesn’t require a ramp up nor does it require mow the lawn type gameplay.

Everything literally melts… at range. Whoever thought an up close and personal revolving BL Okun’s was a good idea… well… LOL

It’s good for aesthetics… and that’s about it.

I’m trying to see if Lochran’s chaos gloves can beat a legendary pair with proper aspect (say shredding blades) and + to core skills…I havent gotten the Lochran’s gloves yet so unable to test. But I think the legend gloves may hold a slight advantage in damage…

I’m in the same boat. I’m running crown of lucion chest… BLT gloves… locran’s pants.

I have a ga all stats shroud… but waiting to see if I can get a crown of lucion pants drop so I can swap out the locrans for the shroud.

Something tells me shroud might be better in this case.

honestly a really good Rainment might be even better…I actually think I have rainment gloves too. I’m not sure if shroud really fits that well. The +1 to passives is great but the other stuff may not be that helpful.

Well it’s been a lucky 24 hours… and a miracle just happened. First I got 10 mythic drops yesterday… and then 3 more today. Maybe I’m bugged… LOL

Then after farming helltides, NMDs and hordes for about 10 hours the one chaos piece I needed (crown of lucion pants) dropped… with a GA on CDR. Unreal luck.

I equipped that… removed the chest version and removed the locran’s pants I was running.

I traded 6 ohm runes for a 4GA raiment… and still have the 240 all stats ga shroud. Gonna run with the raiment first and see how it goes. I triple crit MW GC on the raiment (+14 total for 112% damage, 28% damage taken) and also hit the orange MW on the CoL CDR ga. BL is +42… +45 when runes activate. Every piece of gear has the orange MW now… done with MW unless I get a higher GA upgrade of the mythics or chaos gear I’m running which isn’t likely.

Time to go level glyphs (all 62 right now) and then go for the pit record. I think I have a legit shot at it.

It’s one of the best sorc builds in the game and if the ptr is an indication it may be the best build in season 11. Check out Mekuna’s youtube video from yesterday. If you’re struggling this season check out Lurkin. I use his crackling and BL builds. Including chaos armor builds. You really don’t need mythics to kill everything this season.
