Cooperation mode for the war plan

Considering they have to program and test it to make sure it works, it’s perfectly acceptable.

LOL Second account?

I smell an outrage baiter

This time, it really isn’t a bug. It’s a feature.

I’d tell you to temper your expectations, but idk if you have that manual.

It’s a bug, the game is always online and they didn’t code the new expansions end game to work in parties.

So not only do we have to wait an extra season to enjoy cooperative play, you even intend it to cost some extra type of currency to do so?

I regret ever recruiting my friends to play this. What are you guys thinking?

This word… I don’t think it means what you think it means.

you even intend it to cost some extra type of currency to do so?

It’s the same currency you use to reroll war plans already. It would just be the group agreeing to reroll their war plans together, and they would match.

And you get this currency from completing war plans.

An even simpler solution. Would be to just have players of the same party, receive the same randomized layout when starting a new one. That way they don’t have to code any new “captain warplan” stuff, simply pass the same seed code to all members of the group.

Then everyone is doing the same route on their own personal war plan.

They have a habit of listening to the dumbest and loudest people.

There’s a lot of people who are really mad that an always online game encourages you to group up and rewards you for grouping up, and want that removed.

Blizzard just doesn’t listen to the correct feedback, and it’s why Diablo 4 ended up the way it was for many years. Seems they are repeating this mistake.

Grouping up should never be discouraged, should never be a penalty, and should always be more rewarding than solo (unless some type of strict SSF mode exists).

It takes extra effort to find and play with others, which is why it needs to give more rewards. Making it more cumbersome, less rewarding, and difficult to do just ensures absolutely no one will ever play with each other except for close friends and wife/husbands.

Modern gamer design by modern gamers that don’t know anything.

A bug can mean anything you want it to mean as a game developer.

This sounds like the easiest way to implement it from a programming perspective too. For a company as big as Blizzard with as many employees working on a game as they have on Diablo 4, one of their flagship titles, I couldn’t see this taking more than a few days or a week at worst to do if they really wanted to do it. Join a party, everyone in the party finishes whatever plan they already had, then the new plans are synced and everyone can do the same activities.

Hey could you shoot over the org chart and the Q3 Dev pipeline? I’d also like to check it out.

What is the “correct” feedback? The kind YOU agree with?

Honestly, the assumed righteousness is sickening.

You want to buckle down and die on the hill of a VIDEO GAME forum. Haven’t you got literally anything better to do with your leisure time?

so many blatant Blizzard devs / ai / marketing coming out of the woodwork

It’s ok you don’t need to defend the trillion dollar company.

NOTHING you said is true. I’m a Gen X head of radiology in Savannah GA. I have no idea how to code or make a video game whatsoever.

Your cope is ridiculous.

The “trillion dollar company” is not a single entity that you get to use to make it easier to hate. It’s THOUSANDS of individuals making the entity work and hopefully produce a product that people want and buy. Many of whom own shares of the company they work for.

Grow up. Your anti-capitalist crybaby worldview has zero basis in actual reality. Read the zeitgeist of the times. Your ideology is dying, and I hope it suffers to its last breath.

Guys, it’s okay if you don’t want to offer suggestions to Blizzard, but you’ve gone off-topic.

So punishing people for grouping? Highly forward thinking in a game designed around a pseudo mmo with a bad group finder.

Im pretty sure every player of the group will get 4x as much loot for rushing throught the maps while the solo player gets a pat on the shoulder and a single peanut at costprice.
