Confused with new loot system

Hi all,

Just come back onto the game after a long break and have some questions.

1: What have you done with all of your legacy gear, dismantled?
2: What is the best loot to aim for, is it still yellows or legendarys?
3: Anything else i should know about regarding this new loot system, i understand the tempering and masterworking, just wondered if there is anything else?

Legendary will be better than rare. WT3 and after rares are there to be sold/salvaged.
I haven’t been on Eternal to do anythinng with Lagacy yet.
The best loot will depend on class/build

  1. if you play on Eternal keep your legacy gear until you find upgrades, then replace it all.
     
  2. Legendaries are the only items to worry about later on. Rares only come with 2 affixes base, Legendaries come with 3 base.
     
  3. Would highly recommend going through the patch notes and other information about the changes in the D4 News section when you get a chance.

Many thanks all, will just keep farming for new gear until i get better than my legacy gear, gonna be a real shame to dismantle my Harlequin :slightly_frowning_face:
