Necro minions reputedly scales badly in endgame. Kind of expected that myself, too much passive damage potential. But yes, seems shoehorned into a bone or blood build.
they already said they aimed at balancing at high lev. thatâs all that matters. you wonât stay at low levs long enough to notice punishing differences even first time youâll level your first char. and once levelled that, from that moment on, if you simply stashed few yellow items along the way, youâll breeze to 50 in a moment with whatever other alt, making low-lev balance even more a futile thing. in beta it was a noticeable thing since we stood locked at lev 25 for days, hence noticed differences at that lev range. in full we wonât stay at lev 25 more than weâd stay at lev 24. what for? two minutes at most, ding, 26, next.
First you say they bring nothing to the table and then you say they bring minor buffs. What is it?
Second, i only told some classes dont get there âspecialâ abillity and therefore missing out on things other classes did get to play with.

again - sorc passive spells are a GAME CHANGER = MAJOR BUFF = MAJOR PART OF A SORC BUILD = What is it?
if a sorc has a CD reduction build using ice blades passive spell thatâs a MAJOR GAME CHANGER.
if a necro can spawn a corpses by NOT KILLING A MOB but by damaging a boss with no ads = MAJOR GAME CHANGER
if a druid gets a 10% crit damage via a spirit boon = MINOR BUFF = ALMOST USLESS.
and again - you all kinda miss my point - i am against game design that nerfs baseline abilities making them trash - just to make a legendary that buffs its back up to NORMAL performance - if you played early and beta - this point is so obvious when you compare druid vs all other classes that i cant even think about reasons WHY would you argue with me. Its obvious that druid abilities were stripped down.
Look at the necro bone splinters ability for example - its so strong that you can compare it with a land slide. You can shoot up to 5 splinters and its 100% damage scaling at lvl 1. Not to mention its free and you gain vulnerability on the target.
Now lets apply druid logic here. The base ability should shot 2 splinters that miss all the time BUT deal 40% damage (20% per splinter) point blank BUT if you get a legendary ⌠you have a 30% chance to shoot 3 more splinters IF ABOVE 50 essence.
A generator necro ability that deals more damage then a druid core strongest spender(landslide).
Now lets see how you will argue for the sake of argue.
You care. Because it means that the classes people play the most are ones which are the most fun. And if youâre not a Necro or Sorc player, youâre going to have a bad time.
My Rogue that I hit 20 on a few hours ago that has 1 legendary feels way more powerful than my Necro from the last beta. People crying about Necro and Sorc were smoking something.
