I agree This bug is annoying they need to fix it asap I am tiered of it already AND I wont even make a hard core till they fix the issue such a shame payed 80$ for a bug that gets you killed all the time

+1 this isnāt a bug but itās just bad UI. It makes the game much less enjoyable and is very confusing to the player when they suddenly arenāt able to use their abilities. Itās breaking immersion because youāre trying to focus on the fight, but then have to troubleshoot mid-fight why your abilities arenāt working.
They need to fix this, itās a dumb thing to have. The fact you can click over the chat in every other place and not have an issue except just below the resize button means it is a bug and it needs to be fixed ASAP since you have hardcore players who literally can die in the 1 second it cancels out your abilities.
Fact they havenāt even acknowledged it or said they are working on it is ā¦ well itās just Blizzard really.

Blizz changing dungeon density and other things but no quality of life quick fixes for this? Letās go, Iām sick of opening chat 5+ times a day because of this unintuitive UI.
Please fix it Blizzard. If it is difficult to remove that tiny click area, at least move it to the most left-bottom corner. As it is, it is very easy to click on.
Donāt just move it to a different spot, REMOVE IT COMPLETELY. A click to open chat input button should NEVER exist on a CLICK TO MOVE game. This is wild that this even got through to launch.
This mistake from a programming perspective is so bad in design, that the person who created this function, needs to be removed from the company and walked through the streets while everyone yells, āSHAMEā.
+1. My wife and I have encountered this bug a few times. Thanks to those who have diligently investigated the cause and produced replicable footage of it occurring. Blizzard, this needs to be fixed asap. God only knows how much hate this bug will cause hardcore PC players.
Yes do this please. It happens to me all the time when i am playing a kiting character. Also the other buttons, like level number, that open ui elements should be possible to disable. I have a hotkey for everything,
I dont need ui clicks to open stuff!
Still not fixed. Lets see if it happens in next patch.
This bug is really annoying me. Though I did find that if you change your HUD configuration from centered to left corner it moves the chat box button to a less clickable location.
