I noticed when I was on the horse and was on speed the movement stayed back in for a few seconds so I dismounted and stared walking and yes it did the same thing. Today at this time in town and outside when walking your character will stay in a single spot or walk backwards for a few seconds if in a helltide with many players you will just get disconnected and get an error box. BTW this also happened in a NMD was only in Tier 1 when I got disconnected and got the error box to wait to fix save XXX from Dev. Anyways, hope this helps find your bug and get your game going again.
