What if Blizz just add some equivalent of Chaos and Exalted orb from PoE to D4…
Chaos = reroll rare item while keeping item base and ilvl.
Ex orb = add 5th affix to rare item.
At least some form of item crafting should be in game (im not counting gambling as crafting) . It would also add posibility of active trading (selling orbs for gold)
What do you think about it guys?

That just sounds like a game having a crafting system. Which i would love to.
Being able to continue crafting white or even magic item drops, and more other crafting mechanics would be great and welcome.
What we got so far is just a copy paste of the existing diablo 3 item reroll crafting which is sad and not enough in my opinion.
I wish they would have expanded on the diablo 2 crafting recipes like caster crafts, blood crafts, giving us combination of gems + mats + runes perhaps or things like jewels or whatever they want to add and use a cube to craft gear. The 5/5 upgrade and socket dont even count given how basic and nothingburger they are in terms of interesting.
I would certainly welcome that but given how much balancing testing would be required, I don’t see it happening. Maybe in a distant update.
