I first played D2 at 21 years of age and consider it a far superior arpg than diablo 4, especially in terms of monster types, itemization, bosses.
Obviously D4 has much more enjoyable fluid combat, and there is more to do at end game even if its boring asf, But atleast on d2 and d3 (not ros) I had to actually farm gear and maybe a few levels to overcome challenges.
In D4 its “uber lilith” literally 1 thing.
Your take is a clown take imo, I am not trying to recreate a d2 experience, Im trying to have a good enjoyable game experience with some difficulty.
