Well that’s the purpose of an early access beta, get the kinks out, we have less than half the content the game will have lol and no the problems are tied to the basics… and then you talk about respecting time? Lol, you played classic wow and D4 but have the audacity? Well… whatever, enjoy yourself.

I like to see how people realise PoE2 is not better in the same aspects as D4 or even worse. The only thing that still tips the scale towards PoE2 a wee bit, is that it’s not a finished product, and won’t be for 6 more months.

I know. I just want to play a different ARPG because PoE 2 dissapointed me. Last Epoch is not an option for me with those graphics. Really tried to like the game but I am a very superficial person.

Drop that green, buddy. You are getting too deep. We are talking about hyperbolic fantasy games with devs creating content for it to expire in less than 3 weeks every 3 months. It is content.
It is early access, not beta. There is a big difference. Betas were played before early access was released. They just didn’t release a beta with endgame. The consequences are the ones the game is facing now: campaign is 10/10 and then it drops to a 3/10 in the endgame.
The purpose of a beta is different than the early access. They are different things. Your lack of knowledge is tricking your mind. Early access with the problems PoE 2 has must be called out. The game won’t change as much as you think for that exact reason: this is an early access, not a beta.
To be the best (IMO) needs a complete pack and PoE 1 doesn’t have the graphics. It is abusrdly clunky. PoE 2 exists because they were aware of it.
People are confusing a beta with an early access game. They actually think the game will change enough to fix the problems it has, but it won’t. Those big changes are only possible in beta states, but PoE 2 already made it to early access.
You will see more and more people getting burnt out of the game calling out its problems. In the end, the will have to patch the game to keep their PoE 1 player base and it will be, as I pointed out: a PoE 1.3.
They made it very clear from the gate what this early access was going to be, for testing, you not knowing that is on you pal. BG3 did the same thing.
Why would I want serious changes for POE2? The game is GREAT, mostly just tweaks and content are needed.

Diablo 4 respecting your time? You must be one of the lucky player (side) who get shako’s often and no disappointments with tempering.
There are 2 sides in diablo 4. One side that get everything they grind for and say the game is fine.
And the other side of ppl who grind for
Months and killing duriel 300 times and get nothing.
True, if you get every shako possible then the game could be easy. Like the harlequin crest or what name it has. 20% reduce damage.
When i heard about PoE 2 has worse rng then diablo 4 and is like a darksouls difficulty game i dont even want to try it. I am not a person type that want to do challanges for my ego. I just want shiny loot drops and i am happy. How more easy i can destroy the better it is. And without too much grind (time wasting)

Pretty interesting takes but what build do you play in poe and what pinacle bosses you destroyed? I assume t8 breach, dellirium and ofc T10 arbiter? Did you get temporalis? What end game items did you get?

Blizzard really wished they still had so much good faith by their players, that they can launch a free game, charge 29 dollars for beta-testing, and have 300+k current players. And GGG did this with AA-budget. Kind of crazy, isn’t it

I’m one of those people. I got lucky with a Mythic drop once recently and I’ve been playing since s0. I got my build (Minion build mind you) to plvl 208 pit 60, in torment 3 now, all without outside help. I wouldn’t have been able to do it on previous seasons. Tempering, MW, loot revisions, difficulty revisions, Pit even. All that factored into pushing my character way higher than it’s gone before.
I don’t sit here and play for 16hrs a day either. Each session has been in digestible chunks. So yeah I’d say this game does respect people’s time even though I didn’t get a lot of Mythics like some others.

What do you mean? Blizzard launched a beta for $100 and it sold like 9-10 million copies.

Oh you meant again. 
I mean there is still an audience for this…so potentially they could…but I suspect the expansion did not sell well, as we did not hear about it at all. Most of my pc friends left this game shortly after launch.
The friends I made in game are console players and they sincerely seem to enjoy the game.

yeah I also mainly play on xbox, but I got tired of it, because I started the new class and I didn’t end up liking it, so I’m waiting for Paladin 
For season 7 I will maybe boot up the game again and play barbarian or sorc, as those are more fun to me. idk what it is about the new class that I don’t like exactly, but it seems all over the place thematically with fire phoenix, centipede, etc.
PoE 2 has way cooler classes imo, and even Diablo Immortal has way cooler classes than D4. For me at least that’s kind of a factor

Well,I will rephrase. It’s an unfinished game with 50% of the content missing.
I agree it’s Poe 2,it will be a lot like Poe 1 the game won’t change much.
Still there is plenty of time before release ,the Atlas needs work for sure.
I will play it casual until then and see what the do. I don’t care much for trials and the atlas tbh and the one death thing is just crazy lol. I hope they make some good changes.

When Poe is released fully, please come back and give your reviews. Game is in EA and you still rate it higher than d4 nearly 2 years old. Imagine comparing a game in EA to a 2 year old game by an AAA developer and still having them nearly equal. Doesnt bode well for the game thats finished
No, they didn’t were clear about the EA. In fact, they changed their minds quite a few times, so the amazing marketing team they have confused people like you: dudes unaware of why early access is used to cover the failure of a studio to plan ahead.
I won’t explain this to you here because I already did on Reddit to a dude and even with all the data provided fanatics will be fanatics, but go ahead and Google the difference between beta and early access, then proceed to read about how marketing teams save (and also destroy) games/apps reputation and then carefully watch how PoE 2 shifted since it was announced years ago.
No. Larian actually did a very good job and was very clear about their early access since day 1. GGG didn’t. Even Jonathan have stated multiple times how there was a big shift in the game in the last 6 months. Again: data is there.
For you. Remember that your perception doesn’t always match reality. You are being a fanatic by saying the game needs ‘‘tweaks’’ or you are playing it casually and are unaware of the insane amount of problems the endgame has.

People are offended by everything now days, everything they listed will still be listed as content and some of it barely that. They think most gamers care about music lol, I play d4 muted with my music playing.
How are they covering a failure when nothing was released? Poe2 has been insanely open about the game leading to EA. There is some flaws I agree ie certain currency totally lost on death is dumb imo. But it’s like half the game and we were told that. I do believe they are aiming for casuals also though, poe1 felt more in depth with character builds to me, they weren’t lying about a more linear path sadly
Yeah thats why I’m not gonna bother with it. Not really interested in a copy paste S2 with nothing else new. Already been there done that. Glad they are bringing powers back and all and they probably are even pretty cool but still same game.
