Fix regarding not having the normal varshan invoker recipe: I had to redo the season quest on a whole new season character. After completing it there, I received the recipe for “invoker of varshan”, which unlocks the recipe for the whole account… not the best fix, but at least now I have it.

Quest has to be done on World Tier 2 or lower I believe. This could cause bugs for people who wait until World Tier 3 to try to go do it.
Seems like you have to go back to tier 2 and kill Varshan in order to get the recipe to drop. It dropped for me now when I went back and tried.
what did you get the recipe for if not for crafting?
you cant go back to fight him. allready used the invoker of varshan back when i did the season quest but didnt get the recipe drop, so no its hard locked out. the post just after yours may be the only way to do it now, playing through a 2nd char

That was my fear for the only fix.
And it’s something I honestly refuse to do.
Yes my issue was resolved playing on second seasonal character. Rush only the Seasonal quest not leveling and then request help for the prayer book quest item that resides in Eriman’s Pyre stronghold with lvl 35 monsters. You can speed through to the completion i finished around lvl 8 from lvl 1 fresh.

Having the same issue here too. Finished the season questline, didn’t get credit for finishing the season journey and also do not have the recipe for Invoker of Varshan.
Same issue here. I’m just curious that is Blizzard really monitoring this forum, and they are actually planning on fixing it, or this forum is just here for fun?

I Got the same bug!! No “invoker of varshan” got the foul and tormented recipes but thats it…paid for the new season and litteraly cant progress it i.e. UNPLAYABLE!

I have the same problem , can not get the recipe for the “low level” Invoker of Varshan so im stuck on progress

I have the opposite issue, I have the recipe for Invoker but not Foul Invoker, and now have to go back to WT2 and run around looking for a boss that I will 1 shot.
How are you getting the foul one? That’s the one I want!
