awesome now you should have the recipe you need. just have to kill it on WT3 don’t forget the recipe it drops lol and WT4.

Just note that most fixes people are suggesting may not work for you at all and it requires a hotfix on Blizzard’s part.

I can not get the original recipe, I have the other two and have already killed his wt3 and wt4 versions, no fix anyone has suggested has worked. There are long threads about it in the bug report forum. I joined friends who were farming their quest dungeons after I had already done it and got extra invokers that way but I was unable to get the original recipe from wt1, wt2 or in any other way that anyone suggested. I tried a number of things.

The only thing that probably works is leveling a new character and re-doing the entire questline, which I wasn’t willing to do while waiting for Blizzard to fix it.

The item is not tradeable but a normal invoker drops every time the quest boss is killed and some people farm the quest boss for gems. If you don’t complete the quest you can do the quest dungeon, kill him and take his heart but then not talk to the NPC and reset the dungeon, so I was able to join people doing that and get a handful of normal invokers that way.

I had already completed the quest and can’t do that solo, but you can join a group that’s doing it with someone who hasn’t completed it.

I have the same problem, it’s infuriating. I’ve tried the redo of a T1 tunnel and check at the bench in T3 but it did t work. How can there be a bug in the single quest season 1 is built around…

If you have any luck fixing it, please post it (I’ll do the same)

ya im having this issue there is no way of reseting the quest cause i dont see the quest or the npc near the bench

He only drops the recipe if you beat him on WT2. If you beat the capstone and go into WT3 or WT4 and beat the seasonal quest line it will not drop the recipe.

happend to me also…killed on WT3 and no upgraded recipe.
