No, they addressed it by saying they will for S7.
Otherwise they are maintaining their stance that they will NOT nerf a class/build during the season unless it is causing stability issues for the servers.
It was thoroughly explained so I don’t understand how you walked away with your take?
Druid can do T4, though most builds will need a mythic. ![]()
I will fill you in from my own personal experience. I have 2 druids and 2 barbs (4 different builds) all pushing 80+ with loads of work left to do on their gear. My companion druid has pushed to 93. SSo you can add those 2 to the list of viable end-game classes.
First few minutes of the campfire.
I preferred the difficulty on launch as well (or right now T4 with other classes than SB), but remember the outrage after the S1 nerfes? They will never dare doing it again, forum was on fire.
You are thinking of Armory which is a way to save builds.
They also said of all the playerbase. That probably includes the people that didn’t purchase the expansion and therefor don’t have access to the class at all.
Yeah, every build from every class I made can hit T3 almost as soon as they’re lvl 60, as long as I come up with decent paragon interactions, temper, aspects and uniques (i.e. not making a incredibly bad mix and match of everything and expecting it to work). Having over 200 paragon levels does help considerably though, and mythic uniques bring it up another couple of notches into T4 territory.
Thing is, all it means is that all classes are capable of Pit 100+, not that every basic/core skill is. Then comes the SB : Almost any spammable skill can reach Pit 100+, even the worse ones, as long as one makes use of the “Unintended interactions”.
I’ve said this before, but a build needing a mythic or two to feel good in T4 doesn’t mean it’s weak. In fact, that’s basically the standard for every class not called Spiritborn.
i know your opinion on this buddy, just like you know mine. Neither of us will change that
<3
Summary:
-They will not fix exploits during any season
-They want parity between classes, but won’t fix exploits that throw that parity out of whack
-They acknowledged that spiritborn spammers are exploiting in that the interactions they are making use of are UNINTENDED.
-Underperforming builds can expect to be brought up, but not through the bugs that push the special specs out of line.
Absolutely ridiculous. You can’t have class parity or a balanced game if you let these bugs that trivialize the game slide all season. The players that are playing the bugged builds know the risks and accumulate enough materials, gold, and back up gear through their exploiting that a fix/nerf would barely hinder them on their way to the next most insane build fed to them by streamers.
Personally, it will be interesting to see what SB can do in S7.
I think that it will be just fine imho.
Sooo bloody sad… 20chars
It’s because it wasn’t a mistake, in my mind they knew SB was going to be a powerhouse and they let it happen … imagine they released a new class and it was just another version of Rogue? They had to let it be OP - they’re in the business of selling us things.
Also “unintended interactions” lol as if they didn’t know those were happening before launch.
it will most likely be absolutely fine, but we can also expect people to be furious when certain untintended mechanics are being fixed ^^
Well, they expressly said that they are intentionally making SB OP for launch. Now if they intended for it to be AS OP is ![]()
I know.
Blizzard have been doing “Flavor of the month” balancing for 10+ years now.
Still really bad though. Arguably worse than if they were only incompetent.
The problem is that this will NEVER change. No amount of bug fixes are going to keep the community from finding more and the streamers distributing them to the masses.
The thing is … is does not matter. The “success” of a build does not hinder your ability to play the game or not. Them amassing ridiculous mats and gold does not affect your ability to play the game. Nothing anyone does affects your ability to play the game. It may hurt your feelings. But there’s a real easy fix to that. You know where the info comes from … stop looking for problems. Play the game and stop whining about how other people play it.
