Bug synergy iron maiden and aspect torturous with the passive shadowblight!

There’s a bug which means that the 10 stacks of “Shadowblight (passive)” aren’t counted when using the Iron Maiden skill when using the torturous aspect, which transforms Iron Maiden into a darkness skill that does shadow damage.
For this power to become interesting in Necromancer, its synergy would have to work perfectly with Shadowblight effect passive!

Pulling this thread back up again, as I just observed a similar issue when fiddling around with this combination and the Blighted and Decay aspects
Dismissing all minions and standing amidst a group of enemies, the Reaper’s Pursuit buff is correctly refreshed whenever an enemy hits me, so the Darkness portion of the Torturous aspect seems to work as intended. I don’t receive any stacks from the Blighted or Decay aspect though, indicating that the Shadow portion of the Torturous aspect doesn’t work as intended. Or its intention is unclear…

Does Iron Maiden even inflict Shadow damage, despite the tooltip obviously saying so?

EDIT:
It doesn’t make any difference, if Iron Maiden is equipped to the skill bar or not and it also doesn’t make a difference, if the curse is applied actively or passively, e.g. by the Blood Moon Breeches pants or the Cursed Aura aspect
