I just put 12 distilled fear into the altar to summon Beast in the Ice. The materials were consumed and the altar UI closed. The altar did not disappear and the boss did not spawn. My 12 distilled fear were taken from my inventory. I could not interact with the Altar afterward. I had to leave and reset dungeons to have to try again.
I had one succesful spawn and then when using the altar a third time, the bug happened again.
