What about all the hard word that they scraped to go “in a different direction” (for the story)?
One of my top wishes (for gaming related things) would be 100% leaked internal dialogue for the past 7 years of anything related to D4 development. So we know what we are missing out on and why and because of whom.
Screw that. I gave them money for their hard work, I will choose to view it how I wish. You just want to watch it all and are afraid of being left behind. See through you we do.
I don’t know about all that, but it would be nice if I choose to watch something and my friends don’t, that I don’t get kicked out of the party when they run a little ahead of me (and I’m almost caught up to them) like happened in the server slam.
How about this: Bring back teleport to player/party as a popup option available for 10 seconds after the cutscene/story stuff. That way they can be killing, I don’t miss anything, we don’t interrupt each other, and I don’t waste time just walking.
I think I briefly saw something about a horse dying and a snow storm. That’s all the cut scene I needed, I’m good for the rest of the game thanks. To be fair though I kinda wish there were more cutscenes, as the ‘in game pseudo cutscenes’ are unskippable. Booo
Don’t know if op is a troll or just an idiot but e.q honkai starrail forces cutscenes and dialogues on players and that was one of the main reasons a lot of people didn’t get past tutorial. Blizzard maybe isn’t the best company but they won’t do that sh*t.
NO exact opposite. Should be totally disabled to watch cutscenes in a group. If you want to watch them go solo.
Nothing more annoying than cutscenes in multiplayer it is legitimate cause for instant boot. Heck you take more then 5 seconds to skip you getting booted.
If they have not played before, tell them ahead of time to skip the cutscenes or that you will be going AFK (feed the fur babies, check the mail, etc.). If you get booted, that was not the PUG for you and move on. If they complain later, you did tell them.
It was a pain watching the cutscenes over and over during Server Slam but I needed to know how much time was saved by skipping through them (about 40% time saved - there are some long dungeons in the main questline).
You forgot about what blizzard talked about “Play your way in diablo 4” which means YOU can do anything you want, you don’t have to copy anyones advices at all!, or copying others builds, you can BUILD your own builds anything you want, there is no orders or requirement builds in this game, PLAY YOUR WAY IN DIABLO 4
U remind me of the type of WoW vanilla purist who thinks flying ruined the game.
If people want to watch the story and cinematics, they’ll watch the story and cinematics. If they want to enjoy the gameplay itself instead of the story, there is absolutely 0 harm in letting them do so and skip the cutscenes.
Stop acting like the only work the devs put into the game went into the plot and nothing else.
If people want to skip much of the content so they can get to the endgame as fast as possible and do the same things over and over and over like a hamster on a treadmill that is up to them, they paid for the game.
