Blizzard punishing people for buying diablo games?

You have been given an option how to resolve this it’s your choice not to take it. This is not blizzard being greedy you’re buying an item with conditions that you didn’t meet.

I may as well dream and ask Bitcoin if I can buy it when it was $1 so I.can resell it now because I forgot to buy it earlier or wasn’t available to me then as I wasn’t around.

I’ll tell you this Glory, as sucky as your situation is,
I am over 98% Sure that nothing is gonna change, you won’t get your way (cause if you Did Blizzard would have to do the same thing for everybody else in your situation, which they WON’T).

Nobody who’s Not in your situation cares.
They care to what D 4 is and what it should be etc etc etc…(in this Forum).

You won’t get your answers here or get any kind of compensation.

As I stated, you may have to make a new account.

I’m trying to be as realistic as possible here.

You dont meet the conditions for the promotion. I dont see why this is so hard to understand. Be an adult and move on with your life.

That is exactly the point for this to be fixed for everyone. And ye I am aware that this won’t happen look at how many people are not even understanding the concept of what is wrong here.

Nothing “forced” you to notify people of a completely commonplace situation.

You’ve interpreted direct, non-fluffed speaking incorrectly. Not liking what one is told doesn’t make it offensive.

That doesn’t excuse the disparagement you handed out. If you don’t like what someone is saying, ignore them.

If Anything you taught others to be wary or to accept a similar situation if it happens to them. A Lesson learned so to speak (Though I assume most wouldn’t of done the things you have…).

Ideally, it belongs in the Shop Feedback forum. Someone who resonded to the D3 Bug Report quadruplicate post pointed it out earlier today.

However, here may have been suggested since this is where the Bliz Diablo CMs are most likely to see it. And since it’s the Diablo devs are who make decisions like this, this might be the closest the players can get to the devs.

Just speculating though.

Unless I missed it, you are the only one who has the issue, how many other people have posted about this?

Interesting that customer support wants people posting on the D4 forum about purchasing issue.

It seems blizzard is much more concerned in milking that extra few bucks from new customers, or using predatory sales tactics to try to entice loyal customers to spend even more money if they want this stuff.

Its very clear they dont value customer loyality, your best bet is to not buy their new games. I did buy d4 on release, but it became painfully.obvious this game was still in early access beta mode.

Then came the late release on steam to try to get customers who have already bought the game on bnet to buy it again. And now we have loot reborn coming out to try to convince people to spend even more on the upcoming expansion. Very shameful and pathetic.

Just dont buy their stuff when it releases, wait until they bundle it up for cheaper, or go play last epoch/poe and actually support a smaller company that is nowhere near as predatory.

The point my guy is that this is an issue for every person in my position and either you want an improvement or you do not. Saying things that you want to stop anyone who wants an improvement means nothing. there is a “collection”, there is an option to purchase it, and there is a button to do so, for most it is clickable for some it is not. That is an issue and you saying whatever you wish to say does not change that. You are not doing something to help.

Of course, I was forced because I want a solution. You on the other hand are not forced to come and insult someone for stating an obvious issue and then accusing me of namecalling :smiley:

You said it man everyone are free to feel and write what they want. I want this issue resolved. Someone comes to disagree based on nothing in a rude way. i respond the same way by trying to re-explain the issue.

You said it yourself you do not even have the capability to understand what is wrong nevertheless help.

I am now seeing your other comments for the suggestion where this discussion belongs. Thank you for that as I have not been able to have a look in the other thread.

I will try to address this there as well.

Think of a game like path of exile, a game where you can play the campaigns for free before deciding if you want to put money into the end game and cosmetics. They annouced the 2nd game would be free aswell, and all cosmetics bought in the first game will carry over to the 2nd, rewarding loyal customers for their purchases.

Now compare this to blizzard who has wayyyyy more resources using preadtory sales practices to punish players who have already bought their games.

It is even more painful to see how little of this issue is stated to the community and Ye I searched and have not seen any other such discussions, I assume most people would not bother. But after the responses from the support I simply could not allow myself to let this be.

It might have been more like a “take the suggestion on how you feel it should work differently to the D4 forum”. Rather than an actual purchase issue.

There’s nothing to help because there isn’t a problem. You’re expectation of “help” is getting what you want.

Exactly right. And now I am escalated to the “supervisors” of customer support. They seem a bit better prepared in the first response. So I explained the issue there as well, Let’s see if someone will do something about this. And by the way, this is my first-ever complaint so Dont mistake me for a guy that has nothing else to do. I just am so enraged by the way this has been treated from the start. Their firs response was beyond words:

"It is Game Master here to check your case!

I understand that you are having issues on finding some times on your inventory.

After looking up in our system we found that Pre-order rewards are no longer available as the game has been launched.

If you need anything else don’t hesitate to reach out to us again.

Why don’t you state that I was called a troll before that and that I was simply defending myself and my point here? why are you taking only things that support your point?

That is nice of you to say, but

It makes a person share what he feels is an issue and fight for a resolution.

As i said you are so happy with this situation and what i call an issue is some kind of a good thing for you. Great man, i am happy for you. But I think this is not right and this will continue for the people in the thread who understand the issue and for the onces who and not bothering to say they see this as an issue and the ones who don’t even know what the collection includes and what was denied them

And what you and the support is doing is just telling me to go to a different place. I can only assume this is so that the discussion will be smaller and smaller every time. And that would be grat for you would it not.

Sharing what one feels is an issue is fine. Fighting for a resolution that doesn’t exist is the only thing that I’ve been addressing here.

First, I never explicitly told you to go anywhere else. I even came up with a possible reason why here is a good place to post. Second, posting in appropriate places is the best way to reach the appropriate parties at Bliz.

And thus, please don’t create connections that don’t exist, Glory. That’s just more of what had me believing earlier that you are trying to spin up anything to support your narrative. You can’t expect your audience to constantly correct your fabrications.

Well Glory i believe you were given the answer to your question by the GM but did not like it as you already owned all previous Editions you did not qualify for the promotion and the only way he can see you getting said items would be to start another account. That being said how many seasonal items or cosmetics did you get that new players will never get i think your reward for being loyal was perhaps the many items you have gotten. Is this a problem should the people that just started playing say hey i want that item why can i not buy it. I will try and say it once more it was promotional to try and get NEW Players not really hard to understand.
