Yes I agree with you.
They are poorly designed.
It’s like they are copying all the bad from D3 and none of the good.

I play it because I like it. I don’t need to “be the best” and 10-20 more Pit levels won’t change a thing.
They already have your money
Dude no one cares what Pit you clear. The basic gist around pit clears is if you are clearing past 115/120 you are running a build that does unintentional damage. No one cares you have a cheese build. Go do a normal build and get to 120. I’ll be impressed
I’ve cleared 121 with nerfed to hell WW/HoTa. Now that has meaning…
My Bone Spear/Summon Necro clears 132. No Golem. In fact, in S5/PTR, she’s actually stronger. So… buy a clue.
My Pulverize Druid clears 115, but I don’t push and lack 2x+GA gear.
What about either is “unintentional” damage?
And if “nobody cared”, then why do you throw out 115/120? Sounds like you in fact, do care.
Take your homemade vegan builds and gtfo here
Normally this would apply in most games. But here? No the meta is designed by the devs.
Well then…have a dislike on your youtube page!!!
Blizz might make adjustments and decisions based on the meta, but the meta is ultimately decided on (and created) by the community.
Example: Fractured Winterglass, thought of as being in the Meta by the community, but after Blizzard fixed unintentional behaviour the community decided it was no longer meta even though it’s still useful and can be utilized in a build.
Blizzard may even decide to do something to “shake up” the meta, but this is not an exclusive behaviour to Blizzard and is ubiquitous to all live-service games.
Well to be quiet honest, 130 is pretty well known as a number that requires some unintentional interactions with multiplicative damage. Most builds don’t have enough power to get past 110 or 115. It’s not the fault of balancing. We just dont have enough power to do it. All I’m saying is, anything past 120 is only doable by builds that are broken really, and it’s a well known fact
So you think everyone just up and decided to play basic skills because they were not being used enough this past season and it had nothing to do with the New Aspects and Legendaries dicatated by the Developers?
If it makes you happy believe what you want. It is a matter of simple math that produces the biggest number. Sure you can say the exploits were not designed by the developers…but we are just talking about poor design vs design at that point. Semantics. Sure players like Rob found those.
LMAO that’s exactly what I said! seasons in this game are darn stupid and annoying af. seasons should just be improvements, update, patch, content added to the entire game not a whole different realm where you have to start from level 1 all the time! get rid of seasonal realm!
Flurry rogue uses it like that, but you are right there’s not many
Well, you can build the way you want, but not every way is optimal. Some ways are illogical and will never make sense… other ways may be logical, but just have lower numbers. Question is, what exactly you want. Do you just wanna put in points the way you feel like randomly and have a build that works well? Or do you want many sensible builds to be viable?
The community did the math and decided that these aspects and/or uniques were deemed the best. Blizzard only offered them as an option, probably due to community feedback.
It might be key to a certain pulverize build or maybe some leveling builds but It is definitely not KEY to the pulverize build in general. Screamheart’s pulverize doesn’t even use a basic for example.
It will always be the case because of multiplicative scaling where there is not parity in the number of scalars or the magnitude of those scalars. One or two additional scalars and a build blows all its competition out of the water. Such is life…and game dev.
