Blizzard D4 Team: THANK YOU FOR SAVING MY SUMMER

There was a street named after you close to where I grew up. We used to fight the kids from there when they came to our block.

You repeat this in every thread, White Knight.

I think that is supposed to be Baleful Fragments because gem fragment cap is already over 999k, otherwise we wouldn’t be able to craft even one Grand gem.

Or they really mess up and change nothing regarding the Baleful Fragment cap. We will find out.

Hm, Dont think Lazyloaf is that much of a white knight, but eh =p whatever

I said m, not k. Meaning 999million, not 999thousand. Patch notes specifically said this:

  • Gem Fragments - Increased from 999,999 to 999,999,999.

May have been a typo on their part of course, as you said you need 1m just to make a Grand Gem. Not entirely sure what the current cap is, haven’t reached it on the eternal realm I can tell you that much.

I think it’s wild to judge that.

How each person chooses to spend their time is really nobody’s business but their own, right?

Any clown can judge you just as easily for your preferences… there’s no such thing as right or wrong.

I mean, everyone is free to do what they want with their time

But letting the game decide for you, is a reach =p ( and its probably not healthy )

Dont worry about me, I can assume all my decisions in my life

Nothing wrong with criticizing the game when it’s headed in a bad direction. That’s literally what forums are for. If someone believes the game is headed in such a bad direction that they are going to skip an entire season it’s fine for them to include that. His information is very relevant.

it feels, some criticism are just getting very old and repeatitive, and some people, just find any way to justify their criticism

Not all criticism are good, there’s bad and useless ones =p

Well if the same things are present every season they will get criticized every season. Don’t blame the people making the criticisms for that. The lack of change is what should be criticized.

Who is this supposed to be relevant to?

Do you think Blizzard employees have time to spend hours analyzing posts here, given the current staff cuts and the intense pressure from Microsoft? :man_facepalming:

No one cares about this in the end…

Blizzard measures a season’s success by shop revenue and server/player activity. Not logging in is already plenty of feedback.

What some anonymous guy on the internet does with his summer is completely irrelevant. :man_shrugging:

We don’t get enough posts in a day for them to be analyzed for hours. Oh they have staff cuts and Microsoft pressure? So just ignore players? That’ll go great.

Who does or does not care about what in the end? If someone is wasting time making a post then you are wasting time responding to it. People are always going to post and they should. Otherwise we have no discussion forum. If the game is bad just don’t login in? So they have no frame of reference to how the game can be improved because people are scared to post because someone told them it is a waste of time to do so?

If some guy is abandoning a season it is very likely a lot of some guys are abandoning the season. This some guy is not unique. He is one of many some guys. Yes a game is in a bad state if players aren’t bothering to take part in a season. If this season has low player activity and low player retention it is a bad thing.

Posting on forums about why you believe it is bad is far healthier for the game than saying nothing. If Blizzard is experiencing Microsoft pressure to the degree you are suggesting then they will more than appreciate us helping them out rather than turning our backs and staying silent.

I think the motto is “Ignore players, ONCE you have their money
You have to get the 2nd part if you ever want to work at Blizzord.

But seriously they are not reading the posts here. At best someone looks through the bugs section and sums up what people put in there. They become tasks on an item/bug list. Then they have a meeting to decide what priority something has based on effort and time to completion. And if they have smoothies any time inbetween most of the rest is forgotten.

You’re taking this forum way too seriously… 99% of the posts are irrelevant to Blizzard, and constructive criticism is definitely in the minority.

All we see here is “higher, faster, further”—no nerfs… more loot, no changes, blah blah blah… plus 200% drama and exaggeration on top of that.

You can only hope that Blizzard ignores the forum 99% of the time, because virtually no one here has a clue about good game design. People here just whine whenever they fail at something again.

Apart from that, Blizzard /MS is massively cutting back on all community managers and representatives between players and the company. Which I can even understand to some extent.

Blizzard will take a closer look at the PTR forum, but wherever this guy is spending his summer… his post has absolutely no substance regarding the PTR. Nothing really tangible or constructive, and what he wrote has already been said 7,000 times over the last two weeks.

I don’t know how much they read the forums but they have thanked us for providing feedback before and feedback that was in the forums has been seen in changes into the game. I don’t know where else they would be receiving feedback from.

I think you crashing out on a guy’s post is taking the forums too seriously.

You must be watching too much YouTube and TikTok if you think that—nothing works right anymore without a crash or some drama?

I’m sitting here with my coffee, jotting down my thoughts… totally relaxed

I have no TikTok. A guy posted a thread and you got actually angry and told him he’s not saying anything relevant. If you are pretending to be relaxed ok. We believe you.

Very nice resume

People will get used to the randomized mythics, keep in mind, there’s pro’s and con’s about that

Yeah, you wont get high crit on a non-natural slot ( the heir as helm )

But, then, we’re gonna also get Multi Affixes in these slots probably

And also, We’re gonna get empowered mythunics, so in theory, we’ll want to chase more mythics than ever

Theoritically, The pool have became much bigger for mythics now ( and we will see, how it goes ) that might be a future permanent change, which sounds kinda cool

I’m not even sure why people whine so much about classic mythics ( we’ve been chasing them for like 13 seasons now )

Let the new Mythunics rule the new world!
