Blizzard can you address gearing & progression please?

Season 6 is good in someways but it heavily lacks in other ways. Particularly gearing and progression.

Season 6 feels like we’ve taken steps backwards compared to Season 4 and 5.

After paragon 220, each level afterwards takes an ungodly amount of time to achieve.

The Seasonal reputation grind takes entirely to long and the rewards are horrible and not even worth going for.

Every activity whether it be, infernal hordes, nightmare dungeons, Pit, Hell tide, Undercity, uber bosses, Dark Citadel, you name it it doesnt matter. They all drop the same quality of loot regardless of whether you’re in torment 1 or torment 4. I have not found any reason to play in Torment 4 outside of the small exp boost.

The drop rates for loot are horrendously bad. In no world should blue items be dropping from these activities in torments 1-4.

By the time someone reaches torment 3 Ancestral items should be garuntee’d to drop AND they’re the only items that drop. A 750 non ancestral item is completely useless to the player by Torment 3 and gets thrown into the scrap yard behind the blacksmith. Why did we go from season 4 and 5 loot reborn, where ancestral item’s where garuntee’d and the only thing that dropped in World Tier 4, to what we have now?

Im personally throwing entire inventories of uniques and legendaries at the blacksmith for scrap because none of them are ancestral. I dont even look at their stats. Its just “nothing in this inventory is ancestral, clicks scrap all items, next dungeon.”

Ontop of this too, it feels awful to be running around dungeons, see a unique drop, notice it doesn’t have a star, indicating its not ancestral, and just leave it on the ground… Its not even worth the time and effort to pick the items up off the ground anymore. This should never be the case.

I cannot understand how we went from Season 4 and season 5 progression, where it finally felt like it made sense and it felt good, to Season 6, where the difficulty doesnt matter just play in torment 2 or 3, you’re not getting any better gear in torment 4. We might as well call Season 6, Season 1.2 because thats how bad the progression and gearing is.

Im creeping up on paragon 250 and my ring of midnight sun is still 750, non ancestral, because I simply cannot get it to drop ancestral… I’ve target farmed the uber boss for this ring an unhealthy amount of times and its just old at this point.

And another thing I want to point out. Just because an item does drop as ancestral, doesn’t mean its actually better than an ilvl 750 non ancestral. Ancestral items base line stats should ALWAYS be greater than non ancestral items, period. Their item level is quite literally higher, so their stats should be higher, but they’re not always. It makes the item level and label “ancestral” hold significantly less value since this is the case.

Oh and Treasure Goblins! This has been my complaint since Diablo 4 launch… PLEASE, make treasure Goblins fun and interesting. Why did we get rid of the mechanic where they drop their treasure bag? Like come on Blizzard, bring back Diablo 3 treasure Goblins, those were so cool.
