In your original post you have the final Vampire as Rampart, but in the build guide I see Metamorphosis. Is this just a preference pick, or is there a reason to be using one vs the other?
A lot of the skills [Vampire] interchangeable dependent on the situation. There’s a lot of open slots to play with. Right now, I got ground stomp instead of lunge and a EQ aspect on my neck. Plus switched to the Godslayer hat. Basically you gather up some dudes every 12 seconds, stun them, and you get a 60x damage multiplier.
Basically, anything with the Twister and Dust Devils is going to blow stuff up pretty well. WW just is able to kick them out faster in bigger patterns.
The way Godslayer reads, it suggests that the multiplier is only applied to pulled enemies. Is it also applying to bosses and elites?
It procs by hitting bosses / elites. It does the pull effect for adds. Everything blows up. Can try it on the test dummies tomorrow, lol.
Read it again. It pulls enemies (once every 12 seconds) when you stun, freeze, immobilize an elite, or when you hit a boss, and does X damage to them - suggesting the damage increase is vs the pulled enemies.
I have one, but haven’t used it, so I can’t say for sure. Knowing Blizz, though, I’d assume it’s the pulled enemies who take increased damage, despite the name of the item.
Pretty easy to test. Keep one in your pack, When you get on the boss put it on. Make sure the cups/skulls/hats match so the vampire powers dont break. Get a boss with a lot of hps. We are a little overtuned for damage at the moment. Im pretty sure its not my imagination.
