Not sure why so many are surprised. I have been saying for weeks that barb is in a good state, and the devs obviously think so too. Only minor adjustments like I called for.
Class was S tier on release and is now A+ tier, still solid af.

You’ll realize how insignificant the buffs are when the patch is released. Barb basically got the sorc treatment from S0 patch.
If you were struggling prior to the patch then you’ll be struggling after the patch. Devs cannot patch a massive skill issue.

To a lot of players, 10 minutes to clear Nightmare dungeon Tier 50 is the sweet spot. To blizzard how much time investment a player needs to get to that part is far more important. It’s not like blizzard is going to let a level 50 barbarian with only blue gear and have no renown to do that kind of content.
Those buffs are pretty big. Ppl just don’t understand how the numbers work.

Exactly. When I saw that video of barb clearing T100 with relative ease I knew we weren’t getting any buffs.
Barber’s heart broke every class this season.

Barb did get some nice buffs the highlights for me are the change to battle trance I think makes it bis for many builds. 1k steps and crimson both look slightly better too
Huge buff to generator fury is actually crazy minus maybe for frenzy. The buff to charge vulnerable is nice
The rest is all free damage and DR I can’t find anything to complain about dudes gonna rip

Wouldn’t be surprised if they nerf barb again after this next patch. The issue with barb is that they are a monster in the right hands, so you can’t balance around the casuals.

nope, again I know you have fun trolling, but 25% straight buff to a core skill is not insignificant. With all the other buffs, some barb builds just got given a big boon.
