And you are clearly one of the people farming super low level runs and it shows.
People really got tricked into thinking this would be a game like wow. Nope. Itâs diablo and you have to grind.
True but if Iâm going to grind this much I at least want better combat, more builds, and cooler items. Guess thatâs why most stopped playing.
oh i indeed do most of the time, especially to just get in fast EP for the glyph.
There is no need to push all day bob =)
I agree letâs ban half of whatâs left of the playerbase.
The bank leaving the door unlocked doesnât entitle you to rob it. And it certainly doesnât entitle you to tell everyone you know to come rob it also.
exploit=blizzard money maker, thats why blizzard doing this on purpose, why cant dumb people see this? lmao
Bad analogy. Shako and sigil powder have no value to them since they are not tradable and they are literally generated from nothing the moment you interact with a chest or the sigil vendor.
This is more like a very dumb bank that advertises an âexclusive offerâ. Come and sign up an account today to get 100$ for free! Only that they donât check your identity and you can come as often as you want. Would you blame people who create dozens of accounts?
Iâd just be really mad I wasnât one of them and I think this pretty accurately describes whatâs going on in this thread.
Although in this analogy one party is actually loosing money - the bank. With the bug in this game no one is loosing anything.
Has nothing to do with the value or this particular situation, exclusively. It means that knowing thereâs an exploit does not entitle one to use it in any situation and that there should be repercussions for doing so. It should be a ban. It should always be a ban. There should be no question that itâs bannable. You discover it or hear about it, your first thought should be Iâm not doing that because they ALWAYS ban for abusing exploits, since apparently coming by something dishonestly doesnât mean anything to anyone anymore.
My analogy was fine. It just needed someone with intelligence to read it. An opportunity to do something dishonest does not mean youâre supposed to take it.
You know, maybe, just maybe, there are players who donât give a flying f about the integrity of their seasonal character. Calling those people dishonest is wild.
Itâs only dishonest when someone lies about abusing it.
However the problem is another still. You want to ALWAYS ban for abusing exploits, yeah? This just creates tons of unnecessary work for the team for literally no gain.
Shako gate - you want to ban everyone who opened a chest in helltide? Or just the people who got ubers from it? Anyone who opened more than 1 normal but no mystery chest? What is it?
Powder gate - I could salvage dozens of T7 sigils to make room for T8 or whatever and not even notice that Iâm abusing the exploit because the game does not tell me the return anywhere but the tiny one second pop-up on my character when my focus during this interaction is on my inventory.
So you ban everyone, get tons of false ban tickets and then your stuck with them because itâs impossible to draw a clear line between bannable and non-bannable abuse with this bug.
Fix and go on is the only practical solution here. Enjoy your ethical seasonal character. Let it go dude.
