aspect of volatile shadows bugged or does it just do no damage even with 23 points in shadow imbuement
So here’s the thing, it’s supposed to increase damage of shadow imbuement by (10%x) per the number of ranks of the IMBUED skill, i.e. the skill you are imbuing (Dance of Knives, Flurry, Twisting Blades, etc.)
However, I have noticed that this doesn’t seem to be calculating as intended.
I have 16 ranks in Dance of Knives. With the aspect I’d expect an increase of 160%x damage, instead I’m receiving +160% damage to the skill. This is a huge difference in multicplicate vs additive damage, when the tooltip lists it as multiplicative.
*Edit - it should be noted that Shadow Imbuement’s damage is only the purple explosion when an enemy dies, or the direct damage an enemy takes if they don’t die before the shadow imbuement timer on them runs out. Shadow Imbuement itself doesn’t increase the direct damage your skills are dealing.
Oh what? The ranks that give multiplicative bonus is for the imbued skill (DoK) and not shadow imbuement itself? I also interpreted it similarly to OP’s. And wondered if it wasn’t working.
