There really isn’t any one solution. But you can check the following:
- Make sure you are using a hardwire cable between the internet modem/router and your PC/Console.
- If you must use wireless, make sure power saving features are turned off.
- Try different band settings. (2.4Ghz, or 5GHz)
- Try different security settings. (WPA 2 vs WPA 3, etc)
- Power off and restart your internet Modem/Router devices.
- Restart your PC or console. (On PC, be sure to choose RESTART in the choices)
- Check for updates to your network card from its manufacturer. (Windows updates might not provide the latest updated driver in some cases)
- Shut down any other programs, web pages, or any other background tasks while playing when on PC. (Especially look at your Anti-Virus solution, it may cause issues at times)
- Make sure you are playing the game from an SSD in your PC/Console. (mechanical HDD’s are notorious for causing latency issues)
- Make sure your internet isn’t being heavily used by multiple devices, or someone in the other room downloading stuff, watching internet streaming on like 3 TVs, things like that.
