So I try to point out the positives of what they did, that it still plays on our nostalgia but also gives you a new fresh experience rather than just a copy paste of something we already have a fond experience of. Then offer legitimate advice that if you do just want a copy paste with modern visuals; they have a game for that… I’m “toxic”? That word really does have no meaning I guess lol.

And I was just explaining why people might be “obsessed” about such thing, it’s a very civil discussion. Look back at your reply, the rest of it is normal discussion, but the last sentence is uncalled for, and unwelcoming - definition of “toxic community”. You spent too much time here with other rude kids, you get so numb about these things you don’t even notice. If you want the game to prosper, stop this.

In what way is suggesting D2R for nostalgia with upgraded graphics being hostile and unwelcoming? Lots of people own and play both games.

Agree with OP.
I want to see some respect for the history of this franchise. Duriel has a tough COLD skill, never was a poison boss. Changing him is disrespectful to the franchise.

This isn’t the normal Duriel. This is a different version of him called “King of Maggots.”
I’m willing to bet the idea for this change is because they already have an ice boss. I would’ve liked to have seen an uber Andy (poison) and and uber Duriel (cold), but instead they wasted resources creating an entirely new ice boss.
First world tier problem really.
aRPG game has major problem with itemization but we will talk about that 1 boss should have different elemental dmg than boss from 30y old game.
Not to mention game has problems with CC like, I don´t know, freeze and slow…
