Not exactly like release, more like season 2 when people got mad with a nerf on a class and they stated they would proceed as op said from that point onwards.
However, just one question, what is not working as intended now with class X?

My advice is to focus on your own enjoyment and not looking at what the broken classes are doing. I’m having fun with my self made barb build even though it’s pathetically weak in comparison. As the saying goes comparison is the thief of joy.
Yes, this is how they’ve handled it every season since S1. These guys don’t give a F.
Spiriborn is doing trillions damage using gorila resolve multipliers, i HOPE this is not working as intended, because if is working as intended the situation would be significantly worse
I would say that 90% is working as intended, then 10% is a doubt for me.
The class itself is very strong atm.
Trillion damage is working as intended? my barbarian damage is 500k~2M per hit, i need a buff of 5000% then
Yes, because there is no depth to the game, and all they are focusing on is the temporary seasonal things instead of making the base game fun to play.
I mean, I can’t confirm as I haven’t made any in depth calc and there are some info put in a strange way.
However, even before this latest version of the build with a possible bug, people were hitting close to a trillion. Plus the current build has others scaling factors. I am pretty sure it will still hit for a trillion even if Viscous Shield tops in 33%…
what class besides spiritborne was hitting like that?
I am not saying it is not unbalanced or that it is right or wrong.
Just saying it is likely to not be a bug and even if it is, the build would still be crazy after the fix.
Actually I think the problems is they have multiple teams that don’t communicate until after the season releases and certain builds explode. What it feels like is one team is designing class skills, another team paragon/glyphs, and third team is doing items. They have some loose parameters of what they should do but they’ve got like 2 interns testing the final build that don’t have a snowball’s chance in Hell of stumbling on to the broken combos. So the players become the real test team. Yet another way we’re paying to beta test this product.
Lets say 2nd class is 9/10.
Spiritborn is 55/10.
I’ll be fine if spiritborn were the best class in the game, but a 13/10 while second class is 9/10.
55/10 is not fine. Thats my point.
I tried to explain in another thread I’ve never struggled to do world content before because of another class wiping everything instantly, leaving me nothing to attack, and the response was it’s happened before.
I was excited to reach Torment, and I was basically a bystander in world content, which doesn’t work on a SB Ravager build because I need to generate vigor to keep Ravager going. So, I’m just going to stick to solo content until Dragon Age 4. D4 is broken.
Il tell you more.
It is the same from d2 times.
And will never change.
And i wont tell you why. Its s big secret.
Can’t wait for the season where everyone deals 666 dmg and executes everything
Is it intentional or incompetence? its has anything to do with skins or something that doens’t imply gameplay?
Yep, previous seasons are our proof of these.
It’s intentional. They do it in WoW. They did it in HoTs. I’m pretty sure the thinking is it’ll keep everyone dancing between classes and pad the time played metrics.
Actually WoW is a good example of how class balance should be. Class A is better than Class B and C but never by a large margin.
