No Uber Unique gives you godlike build, except grandfather for Barb which give 100% more crit damage
To Druid, their Uber build would be tempest roar and staff of the crone
To Rogue, their build would be condemnation and Tibult will
It’s a 2% drop rate. That means on average, you’ll get one every 50 runs. Keep in mind it’s an average. Sometimes you’ll go 200 runs and get 0, other times you could go 50 runs and get 4, but over thousands of runs it’ll average to 1 per 50.

I got Andariel’s Visage twice this weekend. I got the first one on Friday during my second ever Duriel kill. Then the next morning I ran him 6 more times and got the same uber on the sixth run.
It seems like the distribution is NOT even. All anecdotal input suggests it is skewed towards to front or back as it were, two big clusters.
Happy for those that are getting them early, and I commiserate with those that are stuck grinding to 300 for the first one.

as a game dev myself i can confirm that, there are mechanisms to scew the “rng” part to whatever limit you want, so essentially it is not rng anymore per se. Its like a rigged casino but in a more elaborate way.

Very first round of runs with friends we made, one of my clanmates received Shako in about 5th run… Since then I personally run way more than 100 runs and not a single uber unique item dropped for me. At least, I got the Duriel mount, sigh…

On average you need 50 runs but even 100 runs is not a guarantee
My question: why do you need Uber Uniques right now in beta test if later the runs will be cheaper? Its just a time wasting

You can ride on the horse when you start next season but your shako will be gone.

So genuine question, in what ways you think D4 has rigged the drops based on what you are seeing yourself and across other gamers?
I got both in about 50 runs with a friend. He got the mount and Ring of Starless Skies.
The dark side of probability my friend. The game was better when duriel didn’t exist. Duriel should be a solo only boss, and they need to upgrade drop rate outside of duriel on uber uniques.

I did 179 runs before my first uber unique. Running in roto groups is the best way, but this type of farming feels bad. Real bad. I’d rather be grinding dungeons/ world content with my friends for a chance to get these. Knowing that these don’t drop anywhere else in the game (I’m not counting 1/1,000,000 drop chance) making doing most other content feel painful/trivial. KNowing I’m doing everything just to kill one boss, and probably be disappointed.
Game has a lot of things to work out.

Ive ran Duriel 5 times so far and got an uber the first time (Heart of Sellig), and got a Shako on my 5th try. I very well could run 100 now and get nothing, or could get all the others. I believe its a roughly 2% chance which is pretty good.
Interestingly enough. When i got the heart of Sellig, all the drops were predominately rings. When i got the Shako, all thr drops were predominately helms (also got a Tuskhelm of Joritz same time).
I run solo pretty much so it’s gonna be major luck for me to see any high-end unique
It’s low percent drop rate RNG. That’s what these games are built around.
