We are naughty and not using right category for leaderboard and tower stuffz.
Players in the leaderboard continue to hide their profiles. In my opinion, this shouldn’t happen, as this is a competitive mode and the game(competitive mode) should be as transparent as possible. Information about skill usage and Paragon points at the time a player is ranked is also needed. You might disagree with me, but please at least consider this.
There should be a leaderboard for each season, like a 12-season leaderboard, a 13th-season leaderboard, etc. This leaderboard should also be on your website, accessible at all times, not just in-game. It should be archived and accessible to everyone season by season. Which builds worked well in season 12? Which characters worked well in season 13? I think this is important.
As much as I like to go through and view top leaders profiles to see what build/gear they used to do it. I also feel like those who made top 10-25 may have secret strategies they figured out and do t want everyone knowing so they can make same changes, but upgraded gear just to pass them, esp if they are fringing hard and haven’t got the luck of the 4-6GA perf roll gear yet someone with $ can take the lazy route and buy that gear just to get their name On top without the grind.
I do think blizz should have recordings of all top 10-25 leaderboard runs for public viewing to prove no cheating occurred.
I also think that the lack of any rewards other then bragging rights is grossly disappointing as I feel if there were benefits/rewards for completing a run that makes the leaderboard, with better/higher quality drops, quantity of items in drops for completing certain Tier levels/time left position of that run on leaderboard, increasing the higher ur run is on leaderboards 100-last spot on leaderboards. 100-50 increase in rewards, 25-50, 10-25, 1-10, etc… this would entice more players to try nd make it more competitive.
As the tower is now released no longer in beta, i think i can say for many that we would greatly appreciate if you would delete/remove BUGGED builds from ROGUE(playing rogue without bugs) from solo or 2/3/4 leaderboards as it is Unfair for the rest of us. You want us to compete but there is no competition against a bugged umbracrux build without any attack skill in it’s bar.
Not our fault if you can’t fix that item, but at least have the decency to let players who play fair to have a chance at the the leaderboard.
Yes it’s completely destroyed the leaderboards so in my options any rogue using that build if possible get removed from the leader board so the duos and trios and solos have a chance to. Be on the board without a exploit or bugged interaction
