I suggest they do this, altogether:
- Make the jeweler the iconic mythic crafting location (as in revert it)
- Make the cube a 1->1 mythic conversion (as in the same item that was input)
- Make the blacksmith and the obol salesman the main slot machines for all mythics
- Give us the ability to equip 1 from each of the above
This is the only way “random affixes on mythics” are ok to me personally.
Thoughts?

Are you talking making the mythic cache crafting at the jeweler? Or all mythics in general? I personally find this to be a great idea, although I haven’t seen the cube be able to craft any kind of mythic on my end, but it would be nice if there was a way to if there isn’t already.

You have to think S15. S14 is pretty much done for its updates. Aside from maybe a couple of hotfixes. So that means the recipe for making mythics in the cube will be gone.
So now we have to look at how to obtain mythics after it’s gone. Drop rates are being increased or rather fixed with the patch coming Tuesday. So they’ll probably be more common now. This leaves the jeweler, blacksmith, and obol vendor open.
Iconic mythics were brought down to be on par with the now Mythic Quality uniques. I’ve said it before in other threads, but I think the solution here is to make normal unique versions of the Iconic Mythics instead. They could easily shave off 30% of the power from each and go from there.

Better solution to iconic mythics and regular mythics:
1] Buff them back up and make them OP. Make more of them. They need to compete with each other. Limit to 1.
2] Mythic quality items are renamed epic quality. Epic isnt just 30% better mainstat and its not limited to just uniques. Could be 2 temper slots, 5th affix, extra socket, greatest affix [100%], 30% better mainstat or aspect, ect. No more limits on equipping.
Epics would become part of base game. 1% base chance to drop plus 0.25% per torment tier or maybe even half that. Now you can have mythics that are also epics as the item chase. Fun.

How about remove crafting mythics all together. They were originally put in as a pitty mechanic when mythics were more rare. But as the mythic drop rate has increased the need to craft isn’t as important.
Instead use sparks to increase the drop chance of a mythic when killing bosses, that way there is still some form of pitty mechanic. Ultimately crafting is just doing the same dice roll as a boss kill so it would be the same thing, but it’d feel better as it would actually be a drop.
Glad to see it, Thankyou Blizzard.
Even more so, Thankyou to everyone that communicated their thoughts and feelings on the matter.
