Anything PIT above 61 is meaningless.There no leaderboards sure 62 > give abit more mats but end of the day you can 12/12 masterwork something with a build whos max capability is Pit 61
If we get leaderboards and your epeen needs a hit and you want to push higher and be on them . Play META
Otherwise at the end of the day it really doesnt matter

Uniques should have 2 temper like legendary items…
You already give up a aspect slot using it… considering they are uniques, they should be way more special in their powers.

As long as you can brick an item with limited tempers, I rather not get a Grandfather and temper it and then brick it with the glorious Blizzard RNG.
Absolutely right, the Uniques have lost a lot of value, and you’re not even happy to find one anymore. I don’t understand at all why blizzard decided not to allow tempering on the uniques.
Tempering absolutely has to find a place on the Uniques. Even 3 times were ok for me, because they are uniques.
How much harder are the Tormented bosses vs. being able to trash on level 62 pits?
That 1 temper should be any of your choosing, and max rolled. The downside would he you cannot masterwork it
Druids are suffering as a,lot of builds require at least 1 or 2 uniques to make them play, but get absolutely killed by the fact that the uniques simply arent good enough, most have no hp, and you cannot temper them.
How were uniques not overhauled pre s4 launch as this was obviously going to be an issue
Uniques should NOT be temperable, instead masterworking should have 2ble to 3ple effect on uniques to preserve their identity and keep them up to par.
no… they aren´t. Many are very useful.
The problem with Uber Uniques is that they’re by and large useless, unless you craft one for alts. Unique design is terrible because by the time you get one in endgame, it’s moot.
Some uniques are useful. But the ubers? No. They are merely vanity items. If Blizzard took design seriously, they’d overhaul the whole game. It’s so bad I dont even bother playing because it’s a doom loop of boredom.
I mean tormented bosses give what 1 or 2 extra drops thats hardly worth the 3 times mats its worth to summon them. the uber unique drop doing 3x duriels imo is better ods.
But ppl still do them. Now if tormented bosses could drop 1000 lvl uniques over 925 well then its worth but now its just pointless to do
At the very least, make the Masterwork grant an actual 5%, 25% increase. Currently the %^ applies to the base stat, so going from level 10 to 11, you essentially see only a 2% increase. If the 5% was incremental and applied to the current value, it would be exponentially more useful.
Yep so true. Right now it’s a number game. People just see higher stats and go with that. Once people see a 12/12 with +10 Rank to skill, they’ll consider if Unique is a better option.
One of the issues I found is that the certain STATs don’t scale with Legendary items.
STR Cap of 42 vs 90.
Dmg 17.5% vs 35%
Those definitely deter me from using a Unique over a Legendary.
since people thing ubers are useless without tempering, how about lower them down to level 1 to be equip’d?
i love running my spark alts with the 4 ubers (shako, tyraels, starless and spear!) so deadly those 4 are working together from level 35
I don’t want to brick an Uber. What they should do is always give Unique at least one GA if they drop from Tormented Bosses.
if its an uber, it should allow you to pick only the one temper you want (its an uber after all) just like the ultimate edition of D4 should included all future expansions for free (its called the ultimate edition) - if the want to change for xpac’s they should just call it d5. Or refund everyones ultimate cost from d4 or allow the ultimate d4 buyers to update to the next ultimate for a small fee of 20 bucks… ooops i digress
