I agree. Though I think the issue is not solely with winter glass, but how powerful conj have become. Vulnerability, CDR, CC, range and barrier. Add the passive and you get damage, mana reg and movement speed. Even without winter glass, every build runs LS and IB + passive. They provide way too much that nothing else comes remotely close.
I dunno how to fix this, but hopefully the expansion can restructure sorc so that there is more diversity. Well⌠the new skill is a conj so I dunno.

Back in S0 and S1, Conjuration was considered a joke, even though Hydra was really strong back then and considered a bug. But looking back, it wasnât. It was a feature lol.
I started off lightning spear myself b/c of all the hype but its not even the best build.
Poison Barrage or Infinite Barrage Rogues are even better.
You get the same or higher damage, the same screen clearing aoe but you have a 60k perma barrier and better mobility.
I partially agree. The single target damage on Andariel Barrage is higher. And for me itâs the most fun. But the AOE on lighting spear is definitely better. I havenât tried the Infinite Barrage though. My Andariels Barrage feels pretty âInfiniteâ.

Agreed. Axial didnât work for me, so I recreated my FO build from S4.
True. All the conj buffs started from season 2.
There is a solution for this. Do not create massively high multipliers and donât tie key build effects to a specific skill. Example sorc conj builds are tied to frozen orb, so every build uses⌠frozen orb. This is bad design.
