I think you are confused here. Spiritborn was tuned to an already unbalanced game.
The game hasn’t been balanced for a loooong time.
If they are the only class capable of doing certain levels of content, such as climbing pit levels, then it’s the new standard. If it isnt, then why have content in the game that’s impossible to achieve?

stay chill, Blizzard will not FIX SB. first of all, I think devs ARE NOT ABLE to find out the SB bugs root-cause, and second, all devs play SB so…
nothing wrong with devs play SB, devs can play whatever class they want and so do you, and me LOL
I am sure devs know how to fix the bugs and where the bugs are. They will fix it when the time is right , and they will likely introduce some buffs in other areas to shift the SB meta. Chill and enjoy the SB as it is now.

If you don’t watch any YT made by streamer, you will find that your minion build are stomping all content in Torment 2. Other difficulty mode is just aspirational and every players are struggling inside.
Every season also have a class which is broken, even Necro minion was broken in Ptr S4 if the streamer didnt report the uncap scaling of Golem Mastery. Sorc Fireball has double dipping bugs with Uniques. Sorc shatter is possible still double dipping with hundred billions damage. All these are less broken as they are old class which the dev has fixed many bugs in 1 year’s release.
You are feeling slog with any other class because the content is designed to make it slog and slow you down. With the intention to keep your eyes staring at the MTX shop longest possible. Just some class someone found broken builds and get away with the slog system, after they have invested hundred donkeys hours in dummy room.

The blasters can keep D3 and PoE1 I guess.
I don’t mind the grind of reaching T4 and then having to scale my gear / paragon to reach crazy damage. That’s the point. Same thing in PoE. The difference become a “newcomer” and a “resident” is insane. That’s what you’re building toward - an insanely powerful character.
I wouldn’t mind if they capped the pit at a lower tier number. The number is arbitrary. Whether it’s 50 or 100 or 200 means nothing. The point is that the highest level should be achievable if you’re willing to develop your character enough. If you’ve maxed out your character’s power in every possible way and you’re still only 75% of the way through the pit, that’s dumb.

Sad little SB defenders. They’re willing to trade having an actual good and balanced game people actually want to play, for subpar overtuned SB gameplay that lets them ignore most of the game rather than partake in it, because they think braindead = fun.

It’s actually not the whole playerbase just the ones who voted on a poll on twitter. Who knows what the real number of for and against is.
The fact he said it needed to be dealt with and made the statement “The question is when?” Leads me to believe the “bugs” will be fixed before Season 7. Otherwise why make that statement and question if they are planning to just leave it till Season 7?
Why say anything at all? He went to the trouble to make the poll and ask the question for a reason. It’s not about proving each other wrong in a debate. You have to ask why did he make this poll? It won’t be later than season 7 that the bugs are dealt with. He would have waited till season 7 to make the poll if that was the case.
