2nd Exp Speculation - Templar Class, Diablo, & Lut Gholein

Get your tin foil hat on as this thread is pure speculation, but wanted to discuss what you guys think they will have in store for us in the 2nd expansion.

I’ll go first, and think the campaign will include Mephisto’s full-fledged return as we killed his dog, and finish up with a pinnacle boss fight with Diablo (Diablo game needs Diablo). In terms of new class, I think it will be the Templar… just like Kormac from D3 was once a soldier of Westmarch and conscripted by the Templar Order. The Templar fits the lore of Khanduras. It would be cool to see the trading port “Jewel of the Desert,” Lut Gholein, make a return as town hub.

2nd Expansion

I feel like the Khanduras area is reserved for the grand final, and I guess that Xiansai is part of the upcoming expansion. We could be traveling from there to the northern left continent. I also bet that the next class will be an unholy pirate. You heard it here first.

On the other hand, Lut Gholein would definitely have my approval.

If the next class is not a holy knight sort of class, people will be bringing pitchforks to Blizzard HQ. Plus, on many interviews with Rod, he has hinted at Paladin class a few times. But I think from a lore perspective, it will be the Templar… which is a close substitute and fits the archetype.
