good to know. I bricked 4 rings today, one 2GA BIS…
I even do not have excitement to farm, why to find a BIS 2 GA item when will be bricked at tempering…
PS: no, I do not hunt for perfect range roll, I stop on first roll for the affix that I need
This is probably what most normal people will do unless the category choice pool was small or they have a lot of tempers to spare.
Again this thread was just meant to be fun as the disclaimer says…but I did it a 2nd time when I upgraded my dagger and it worked again.
Personally, after weeks of frustration and rage quitting, i have had an amazing day. Got a 3* 1H with int/max life/vuln drop. Short time later a 2* focus with int/max life/Crit%. I was laughing all the way to the bank that RNG finally loves me.
Only got Golem damage on one of them but minion attack speed on on both. Then dropped 1* boots, pants and helm, all of which i got the right tempering i needed as well as a cheap echanting.
I mean, what the heck was going on today ?
I leveled a new druid and was getting the EXACT opposite affixes I got on my other druid! I was just thinking if this was a thing!!!
I just want to say I hate Cutthroat damage, attack speed, and crit chance.
My first character the LS/Tornado Druid was Poison Creeper everything, the only pet I was not using at first,…then added PC to my skills and it stopped…which is why I thought of this with the new Rogue.
And when RNG favors you it feels amazing, doesnt hit we all have those bad days but the good ones are amazing.
It’s more likely that this system uses an algorithm that scans your currently selected loadout and weights the roll chances. Tha sad reality is that this is probably the only way they know how to prolong the loot hunt with the current mechanics. I’ve also found that if your equipped items have an abundance of a specific temper in the Worldly Defense category that it will weigh the rolls toward what you already have, not the one you actually need. And for some reason the system seems to be able to tell whether or not points into a skill are OSkill points or directly assigned points and will weigh toward purely OSkill point allocations.
We already know they’re weighted rolls. It’s how they’re weighted that’s important. Even more important is knowing that this is just a janky and unrewarding system, period. When the outcry against a system is almost universal then the system isn’t going to be a good one for the game in the long run. The entirety of the system when you account for every facet of it reeks of being controlled by algorithms, not actual RNG.
Wlling to try anything. I just keep everythang. Had same gear for a week.
They’re not weighted.
There’s no way to trick it in to giving you what you want.
It doesn’t scan anything and change weighting.
It is pure RNG.
That’s it.
Thanks for listening.
Let ppl have their rabbit foot. Whatever ppl use…
this is called manipulated “random” code.
