1000 hardcore people on statue contest

If you weren’t serious enough about Diablo to upgrade to early access then you weren’t serious enough to commit to 16 hour days for weeks straight to race to 100 in HC

For those wondering about the Hardcore 100 challenge, those that played the review build over the last two weeks are not eligible. Good luck to those that try. I won’t because I know I’m going to die (plus employees can’t participate either).

I have a top of the line gaming computer. Talking bleeding edge, $5k+ here. And I’m also ultra competitive, so I’ll probably be attempting that contest. But I have the game on the PS5.

Now, there are differences in teleport. But there are OLED TVs also, and those will crush any LCD monitor.

But you don’t need the best hardware to win.

Staying up 24/7 is unhealthy. People can only hold concentration for about 2 hours at most before they need breaks. And for 24+ hours? They’d almost certainly start to make massive mistakes, which could lead to death, and having to restart from scratch.

The console and PC are close enough now, that I have a hard time believing you couldn’t place.

Most of the ones doing the complaints won’t touch hard core. I’ve done HC a few times, it’s a totally different beast to SC with a different way of building toons early on, as well as an entirely different approach to mobs. Even a trash mob can be a threat in HC if it’s not handled in the right way- ie, hit a mob, get other mobs coming in = more than you might possibly handle.

It’s not forgiving of “whoopsie I didn’t think about that” moments.

Man the console and pc are not close enough, do you just intentionally delude your self for fun? The ps5 is equal to like a 500 dollar computer if that, the difference between my old alienware r13 ryzen 3080 I gave to my friend, and a ps5 is the same difference as it was back in the PS1 days, ps2, ps3, and ps4 pro. That R13 isn’t even top end, but could do 21 aspect ratio at 240hz. As it stands I don’t even think the ps5 can do 120 in diablo 4. I know on my Oled 55 inch it cant do 1080 120hz it wont let it go to that, it also doesn’t have gsync. So get out of here with that nonsense. Its like saying that a 800cc can am atv and a 400cc suski are so close it doesn’t matter. When one goes 90 and 0-60 in 3 seconds, with so much power you could flip it over on it self from a wheelie, and the other one cant do a wheelie unless you are fat and sit on the back rack.

Don’t tell me what you think people can do, it is beyond dumb. You have no clue what all the people can and cannot do, the closest thing you could state to reality is you lose concentration after 24 hours. Then you are lying again, diablo 4 has cheat death abilities and potions, so if you die you def do not just start over again. Are you just making stuff up so you can pretend in your mind you are gonna win said competition?

Which since you bought it on ps5 you 1000000000 percent do not. I guarantee 0 of those 1000 people will be on that 1000 person list, and if you have a 5000 dollar computer, why in anything reasonable would you play it on ps5? There is only 1 reason, I can think of, and its if you have the psvr 2, and want to be able to play diablo 4 on the best vr head set while some one else uses the tv. Other than that a pc can play the game with a controller, KB mouse, and anything in between, with better graphics, and any resolution. The ps5 is locked to 1080, 1440, and 4k. Even if you have a 4k 120hz monitor there is 0 chance the ps5 could run diablo 4 at 4k 120hz, it could do 1080 120hz, but you can’t even get it to do that. You can’t lower all the graphics setting to the lowest, to keep a solid minimum frame per second of 120, which even with a high end computer you would have to do to keep it at 120 always.

My old R13 even on diablo 3 and heroes of the storm had trouble keeping a min fps of 240hz, it would dip below 150 at times, on the lowest settings. So there is zero way a ps5 is keeping a min fps of 120.
