Similar, I stopped playing a bit after this post.
I have far over 400h already, I was so hyped, but this being the gigantic patch that they advertised is… well… sadly on brand.
The patch that curb stomps our expectations and slows down the grind of the already way too grindy empty endgame funnily enough.
I have to say I don’t even really care about their weird disconnected idea of the “balance tuning” part of the patch, but seeing but absolutely and completely disconnected they are is what broke my heart and trust.
Same here, I didn’t expect them to be actually completely disconnected from the community.
Like I very many if not the majority of very casual-based post that I see on either this forum or the reddit, but I can at least totally understand where they come from, even if I have a totally different opinion/priority of what should change it what way.
But reading the patchnotes I could only think “who the hell asked for this? who? and why did they feel the need to waste their extremely limited time on absolute non-issues”.
Like, they still haven’t even remotely caught up to even 10% of the Beta feedback, ignore almost everything current and then do this?
I feel like they have actually and totally lost it & they should totally scrap seasons 1 & 2 and actually fix the base game.
