Would these be overpowered?

Blackthornes’ Challenge
5 piece set: monsters will continue to chase wearer till they change zones.

Some ideas here are neat but others may introduce issues or are not easy to implement due to significant coding changes.

This would require the wearer to ignore the topology of the zone which could lead to some strange glitches. This would also be confusing to code with respect to a line of sight mechanic as well. Instead, an automatic door opener when within 20 yards would be more reasonable.

How would this work exactly? I think having a percentage based buff based on the number of stacks of gold picked up (instead of the total amount of gold). Perhaps similar to the Avarice Band buff but with +10% damage per stack up to 30 stacks.

The issue here is that even with a 6x multiplier to follower weapons, followers still would do negligible damage. Players do so much damage due to the large combination of various multipliers (mostly from the 6-piece set bonus or LoD gem). Also, there are several builds that don’t scale off of weapon damage (i.e. Thorns).

This would be massive for speed farming but would be unfair for some groups since the zdps players could probably wear this but not the dps players. To address this, perhaps make it a group buff with a cap of +1 per group. I would also like the developers to change the gem upgrade thresholds to vary with the number of players.

This would be a nice idea for zdps but it would introduce way too much lag on some maps. At a certain point, if there are too many enemies in one place, the game would become almost unplayable with the server lag. That said, Blackthorne’s and the other old crafted sets should be updated in a future patch.
