As others have said repeatedly, nerfing a single overpowered item/build is warranted in some circumstances rather than buffing 6 other classes. The latter option is highly unlikely given the fact that the games is 7 years old and In the hands of the classic games team who presumably are preoccupied with the development of new 6 piece class sets/supporting legendaries for every class.
A corollary to this is that it is unrealistic to think that the classic games team will buff 10-25+ class-specific items for any single class in addition to the current workload.
