Went with the hydras build and Typhon. Using the Winterflurry and Fragment of Destiny.
What I like about it, you really need to cast several things while channeling. Keep casting several things, engulf the map in your doings, fullfills the feel of a wizard!
Spam arcane torrent, cast hydras on new location keep up blizzard at elites, keep using generator. When you forget one, you see that immediately in damage output. So they all seem to do what the text says.
I like Wizard, but not any of the other sets. Besides Typhon, I like builds using legacy of dreams.
I did notice that the 4th cube slot is not listed in the details section of a character’s inventory. (Inventory -> Details button). Would be great if that could be fixed.
Shadow clones don’t come to the next (g)rift level, which is really a bummer. Often a pylon / shrine appears near the doorway of the next level…
Would be great when those clones follow you to the next level.
Otherwise, I do not see an useful role for the shadow clones.
Unfortunately, I don’t think I have time to test the twister build with LoD. It seems like fun as well.
