Well maybe once Microsoft actually acquires ActiBlizz it would be a possibility.
But in my opinion it would be silly.
Outside of console version, you uave to be online to ay non season. Try again. It matters not that you don’t care what the PC version entails.
Izzard isn’t going to offer a restricted version of thier game to appease the handful of players that want offline or don’t have access to online. Their vision is a shared world for cooperative gameplay as well as generating interest in cosmetics. It makes no sense to offer offline. Will anyone need the console online sub? We do not know yet. You needed one to play seasons, the many console players joined in on seasons, so it is really a non issue.
Console players needed it to play seasons. If he thinks console players only played offline he’s high. There have been hacking and dupe issues on console online play since they came out due to being able to modify the offine files. Which is another reason it’s unlikely to happen with crossplay.
