Yeah, a game does not have to be an MP game that allows for SP, or an SP game that allows for MP. It is a bit of a false dichotomy. It can just be a SP & MP game.

Where things go wrong, and I believe what Beefhammer was originally arguing against; some people say that because it is a multiplayer game, then singleplayer doesn’t matter (Shivan arguing the game was meant to be played and enjoyed in multiplayer, and anyone playing SP are doing it wrong). But being “mulitplayer” and being “multiplayer only” are too wildly different things.
The game has both MP and SP. They should matter equally. They should be treated equally.
